My PATH train experiences have been very nice, had a nice motorman who would’ve let me in the cab, but he had to follow rules, but he was a to ok nice to me 🙃 also for NJT, i’ve had very friendly conductors.
Safe call at the end, it's ashamed the Port Authority is super aggressive to anti photography on their trains and at all New York City airports. Port Authority is like the only organization in America that doesn't allow photography on their train systems. Everyone else does. That's why we love our MTA since the MTA allows us to make all of our MTA train videos in our train community possible. Like I understand the reasoning behind the anti photo policy they have but I still think it's to aggressive towards railfans. I don't think it's good business either since railfans are part of the rail business since there are so many of them all over the world and just going after railfans for taking simple non commercial pictures of their Path trains just doesn't seem right. New Jersey Transit has given problems to railfans in the past but once they realized the story behind railfans, they allowed railfans to take pictures and videos of their trains without a problem ever since because they figured out that railfans benefit their system. I just the Port Authority would realize this.
@@Fantech0104 I filmed on the PATH before, but when I was caught, I made sure to bring up the fact that photography in a public space should not be against the rules and that I was doing nothing wrong by filming. the PATH employee that caught me eventually got annoyed because I want on and on about how photography in a public space should not be against the rules and left me alone and allowed me to keep filming.
I was hounded by PA police back in 2011 at Exchange Place, then learned about the "ban" a couple years after. For my 2017 trip, I did photography on PATH between 33rd and Newport, but was very discreet.
Yea, it's pretty annoying. I understand 9/11 happened but if you really think about it, if people all over the world see their trains and say "Oh, I wanna ride those trains". Then the Port Authority can profit more revenue to upgrade their system.
That Amtrak was most likely going to Harrisburg PA. It was using a converted Buds Metroliner at the front, which is typically used (if not exclusively used) on the Keystone Service, which goes from New York, through Philly, to Harrisburg
I swear to God that if they continue to have unconstitutional rules like this, and if I do get arrested, I will fight without hesitation. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO TAKE PICTURES OF PUBLIC PROPERTY AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO IMPLEMENT SUCH A RULE ON SUCH A PUBLIC SYSTEM!!!!!
For your next video you should do (G) (A) (M) (E) (S) you should take the G train from Flushing Avenue to Hoyt Schermerhorn then take the A train to West 4th Street Washington Square then take the M train to Lexington Avenue 53rd Street and then take the E train to 42nd Street port authority bus terminal then take the S train to Grand Central and that is the journey hope you like my suggestion.
Currently as of 2011 the PATH only uses one model which you all can see. The PA5s are their names with the blue faces. That yellow one at 7:30 was a former PATH car called the PA4s. Many have been scrapped, some preserved and others like 7:30 are now use for garbage duty or work trains. I miss riding the PA4. Good times. And to answer your question at 7:51. It's Journal Sq Sir, it's a hub and a transfer point for 33rd st bound trains which they terminate at Journal Sq and are taken out of service there. They relay into those many tracks there to reverse back into JS to go back to Manhattan
Since journal square is the main hub for path trains Theres a huge ton of traffic and a lot of people mostly use Journal square to anywhere as it goes literally anywhere hoboken New york so yeah thats why it takes more time
"Old Yellow train" Well somehow i rode on those as they were going to Journal square but still there a renovation from the PA-4 Which is an old Path train that has been moving since 1986-2007 But still is a work train as it's name Is Work train they work on fixing and bringing materials
Old path trains are like from the old times idk but they really look old but I’m glad they opened up the new paths up I’m so lucky to why I’m cause they open the new path trains
take (L) 6 avenue-myrtle wycoff avenues then take (M) Myrtle wycoff avenues-Myrtle avenue then take (J) Myrtle avenue-fulton street then (5) Fulton street-brooklyn bridge Its over 6 Avenue-Brooklyn bridge
PANYNJ has a photography/videography "ban". Basically, you're not supposed to take photos or videos unless you're part of the media. PA Police WILL HOUND YOU if they see you taking photos/videos. I learned the hard way in 2011, but took that as a learning experience for my 2017 trip - where I did photos anyways, but was very discreet about what I did.
Im got idea you take r143 from ray bridge to times square them 1 train from times square to south ferry them 4 train from blowing to fulton street and 3 train from fulton street to new lots avenue

PATH trains which is chilling before Journal Square was the siding and they're starting their service from World Trade Center and terminates at Journal Square and stops it's service.
@@Dislynn that's what you expect when you have one of the world's worst terrorist attacks on your property. Not saying it's right, but you expect them to be paranoid. Never heard of someone planning an attack on rail after taking regular pictures. And most of the time if you ask what they're doing, they'll tell you there just taking pictures for the hobby
