Have you ran the new baba puzzle a lot? I found after practice it becomes really nice some of the mechanics do feel a lot different from pre patch though. After doing a lot of runs the new room became a lot easier/faster I think the room isn’t as hard but definitely feels harder mechanic wise. I think you should try attempting the room but changing how you run it you might find it better after some runs.

The room is awful for me too. Like raid ending room for someone who used to do 400s. Granted I haven't went a re learned it and I'm trying thralls.

Thank you!!! I’m very colorblind and I only knew about the npc indicator plugin which highlights all same color so I was trying to use the names. This will help a ton.

Yup same here! I mainly run 350/370s iron as well. Sometimes got to keris in the puzzel room. Didnt need to do that before. I do like Akkha though.

I’ve noticed that in high invos taking some hits from shamans/baboons does do a lot of damage I start 500s+ with 20-60 hp. It’s a lot easier to use serp helm at lower invos but shamans barely spawn thralls if you take them out first. I still need to learn 5t redx your streams have really helped with trying to get it down it would help a lot not losing 16%(I think it’s 16%)dps on regular red x. Thank you for all of the tips on your streams also they have helped a lot!

I think it's really nice for room you do need to focus shamans and it feels like it does make the room more difficult. it does get kinda difficult when you have a shaman/ranger/mager/thralls on you but i think the room can be done more efficiently with enough practice with only a little bit of chip damage. The time save is worth it imo. I could see the room hitting low 2 minutes 500s with really good rng. at the end could use keris on some thralls to get some hp back and room would still be quicker than pre patch. I've been looking at some posts on reddit and it seems some players have some trouble with room/chip damage also www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/165onco/monkey_room_still_sucks/ i feel like jagex might take a suggestion in one of the comments and re patch monkey room.

Baba is always free if you red x, maybe this will motivate more raiders to learn it

@@rauliuxaacorrect I only tank 1 hit during baba which is safer than instant proc red x I went in with 21 hp on my last 420 and got hit a 18 and I don’t use blood fury anymore so it’s risky now

You can last forever on the final row, there's always a tile to stand on :)

@@KButtonRS thats not really what i was asking and maybe i worded it wrong, i was asking how often in max gear with magus ring does he have to worry about even reaching final row on a 500 before just killing warden p4

@@RyanJ339 In my experience, it’s quite uncommon. Most of the time if I do get to last row, Warden is almost dead anyways. I’m comfortable enough where I dump all VW specs and don’t need any for Keris.

Usually never for 500s. Are you losing any ticks while attacking? Also are you running pathfinder 500s? I've noticed in my 540s with pathfinder i'll sometimes almost die if i run zebak lvl 4 which makes p4 warden 2x harder for me. I always runs fang kits duos with zebak at lvl 2-3 and its a lot easier. On last row/p4 you'll get really good at it pretty quickly. My first 500 took me 10+ p4 attempts. after 10 more 500 runs it started to become pretty easy and after 50+ runs it's one of easiest parts of raid. it might not feel like it right now but after practice it will become so easy after some runs. You can also run duo which scales for 190% hp and you'll almost never hit last tile in those runs. boss rooms/times are a little quicker in them also

It’s really op blowpipe/ancestral on dps calcs is pretty much like masori except 2 less dps. Fang ancestral is only 3 less dps than full melee switch.

Yep I just have occult equipped. I’ve used bloodfury sometimes to heal dps isn’t too bad if not using shadow on cursed baboons

the whole stack is gonna move with you away from the volatile. shits not that good of a change

There's a setting in the filters where you can only see spells you can cast it makes it so that the spells are bigger. It's under the filter section here ibb.co/yWdYQwM

Yep i agree I find room a lot easier now with some practice. I think some mechanics are changed for room that were kinda hard to learn like praying mage for shamans/baboons but the volatiles/wave spawns make this update really good

for all of ToA or just the monkey room? for the monkey room i use multicolor highlights to outline the baboons these are the settings i use imgur.com/a/xWTput1 imgur.com/a/7SjRFaN Not sure if you want other plugins i use for raid but i also use these "Inventory tags" for inventory outline "monster hp percentage" to show hp on bosses "tile indicators"(i think also used for bosses not sure but shows tile your standing on) to show tile bosses are on "Ground markers" for butterfly/ba-ba/wardens

It’s still a good amount faster my 500 pb now is 2:15 and it usually averages 2:30-2:40. My times before patch were around 2:40-3:00 on average. Lower invos are even faster can get close to 2:00 at 300 invo. I think Jagex might repatch the room from Reddit feedback. A lot of people find the room a lot worse while some think it’s better
