Really appreciate showing a build as it is when you get into maps, not when you're already built out and doing red maps. I wish more video build guides did this.
I think pathing thru damage nodes is better in the very beginning, instead of +10 str nodes, yes it takes 2 more points but you gain 56% increased damage, which is huge all the way until high levels where I usually respec them, also would take graceful assault for great onslaught early that would make leveling so much better and faster, and there is mana/life leech near it and reservation
Playing this build atm! Getting the elevated warlord mod "ignore stuns while using socketed attack + -20 mana cost to socketed attacks" allows you to drop the unwavering stance area and mana related nodes, saving about 20 skill points AND you can get rid of the -mana cost on rings for another beneficial mod
I havent seen the POB yet, please, have that in mind before reading further Exile: Have seen no rage. We are pathing around +10 max rage notable - for 3 points , that would be 40% more damage. Also enables berserk for even more damage. Also, Bastion Breaker wheel at the bottom near the +1 additional impale notable can give 100% pdr for phys hits nonconditional iirc.
Nice update video! I was watching the livestream yesterday and it's nice to see all the stuff you were talking about during it condensed into one video. Goodluck on the league launch!
Hey man thanks so much for posting! Your first pob helped me with my own cyclone a LOT. Updates throughout the league would be huge! GL on league start exile 😀
Thank you so much for sharing! I have been looking for a cyclone build. I may try this as build #2 if my Bleed Glad goes well. You explained everything very well. I appreciate you taking the time to create the video and POB.
Suggestion for lvl90 pre-crit would be a magnate instead of ryslatha, the pathing and nodes means you need very little additional str to get double/triple dmg Love the build, enjoying the league with it o/
Great job! I always do a staple RF build for start and keep it to the side as soon as I ramp my initial currency push. I always look forward to my build 3/4 since it’s then when I usually do a build for me (I make nothing but a ton Of test builds) and it’s always a version of cyclone whether it’s Cospri’s or Mjolnir or generic Inquis on staff. This seems like it’s getting there for sure. It could do fine as a starter and definitely a string build 2 for me. I’ll def check your POB and I’m stoked. Good job my dood! I think I’m subbed if not I’ll def will be! Looking forward to more progression vids. Oh and i almost forgot…. If your do not have the MTX for shockwave def get it..its amazing visually and gives shockwave that awesome look as it proc’s
Thanks! Someone mentioned the Shockwave MTX, I'm going to grab it when I get the supporter packs tomorrow. Appreciate the sub and enjoy RF, it's so good to play.
TY been waiting for a good cyclone guide to come out especially with an advanced build with mageblood… gonna be following to see how it’s going on league start…. It’s either this or molten strike of zenith for me!
Great guide, so far level 84 and close to red maps, still smooth sailing even with a 4L. Would you be open to making a crafting guide for the end game weapon?
@SaNaViXX ill probably be over on the ssf side... I despise trade league with the lack of replies when trying to purchase items. This leagues bulk auction house is a nice start, but as a casual scrub I rarely used the bulk trades anyway.
I would suggest adding the endgame astral plate to the level 90 crit swap. And add -15 mana cost to attack skills on it too. Would save you a couple of points on the tree too, dropping spirit of war, and probably picking up more life nodes with those. Might be on the more expensive side, but well worth it with the bump to mana cost this patch.
@@SaNaViXX You can even elevate it, and then drop the unwavering stance. Saving us another point on the tree. But thats for the giga end game version if anything.
Is that cluster jewel crafted or did you get one? I have seen one with those three notables on them on trade at all and just two of them I'm not sure which to pick other than overlord which seems mandatory.
Thank you very much for the Gameplay you added, I really value this a lot and appreciate that you leveled a character to showcase the build. I think the build looks super fun and tbh it's what I really wanted out of diablo 4 (when the game released) I will most likely play this build. Again thank you for the build update and I'll try to follow your instructions, also out of curiosity, can you reccomend a Loot filter, I don't really know which one to use and I have difficulties deciding what is good and what is bad. I use one that I got from a site Ziz reccomended in a video and subbed to their patreon too, I got a generic lootfilter from there but I don't understand what it filters. It's very complicated to set up all the third party tools and then follow a campaign guide, currently the furthest I got in the past 2 leagues was finishing the story, I never got to mapping
thx for the guide looks nice i will use this as league start but i m still not sure if tumult cyc + stampede is not just a trap bcs it still relativley slow as mapper
Let me ask u something, if we are using the stampede for movement speed, wouldn’t replica stampede be fine as well? Cause the stampede is now way too expensive on console at least. Thanks!
Hey, do you have a loot filter you are going to use for this? Also I am a big newbie so whenever you get there if you could show how you go about crafting the perfect items, weapons, important rings, etc for the minmaxed version.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E2v4qnndAhA.html Source files are linked in that video. I'll probably do an update with a new custom filter for 3.25
greetings sir, I am going this build league start tonight can I use perforate as a leveling skill linked with ruthless and bleed chance on hit(think that's its name) three linked and then pick up blood and sand and switch to sand for leveling then later switch to sunder is this viable?and do you suppose it would be viable for blight farming?
I was excited to start Cyclone then I saw how slow it looks to be killing in these vids. I'm sure it's much better when geared, but I honestly might start bleed bow slayer and switch to Cyclone after I can gear it.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E2v4qnndAhA.html I'll probably do an updated filter video in the near future. When I stream it's on both platforms.
I always play DoT build league start and really like how Cyclone work, tried to build it 2 times and failed. So this league I'll put my fate on your hand and league start it. I really appreciate your build guide but I don't quite like the idea that you have to depend on your flask to cap res though
Nice pob! Really like following your progress with this. But ticking molten shell, max banner and using 700 dps staff and perfect coil at starter gear, is bait.
Molten shell is on a CWDT taken setup so it'll pop when you need that defensive, War Banner is simmed to use with max valour on a boss, so neither is bait. A 680 pdps weapon is far less value now than it was with changes to weapon quality.
@@SaNaViXX Ok if you are only thinking of map bosses but having max placed banner on the entire pinnacle boss is not doable. Same with perfect Ryslatha's coil at starter. Cheapest 30/40 one now is 12div. and 700+ dps staff is 8div atm. But just a bit of criticism, like your build and videos overall.
hey, what league mechanics do you recommend for playing cyclone? I mean harvest or expeditions? or something else? and btw very good guide i will jump in to league with your guide ;D
thanks for the videos and the pob but have you a new pob with the new passiv tree the ground for my ask is you use the old and in the new have change some things thanks
Why do this on a Dualist, instead of Maurader? Can something similar be done on a Maurader? I'm stuck on making Cyclone work on a Maurader. I have a level 90 Maurader, and he kind of struggles atm. I'm not sure of the best way to scale my Cyclone damage, and avoid one shot mechanics. lol Thank you, great video!
Marauder is either full glass canon berserker, or full tank with very low dmg juggernaut. Slayer offers best balance of offense and defense, as well as increases AOE (very important for clear speed). It can be done on marauder without problems, but u might struggle with early progression if u are not sure what u are doing.
Been using this guide and currently in the Level 60. How do you generate Endurance charges early on before you get the annoint of Disciple of the Unyielding?
Is Stampede still BiS for Tumult even in Endgame (mageblood, etc.)? I would imagine some decent boots and a quicksilver flask would help offset the movement speed issues, especially since with such high damage you don't gain many tumult stages since you can click on a pack once and pop it.
So, we need an insane amount of movement speed to negate the boots (like 375% to get it's 150%, I believe) which we don't even get w/ Mageblood and a Quicksilver. That is with full stacks though - I will probably do some testing and see how it feels for sure without boots at that point.
Question from a noob - never been playing PoE. My friend convinced me to try when new league launch. I'v been watching MANY guides, there are really tons of these for each class and what's more confusing are all these...abbreviated skill or items names. I guess i have to learn it all during my play but back to the topic. I'v been mostly thinking about picking a Slayer, as in lots of MMOs been playing heavy DD's with 2h weapons. Is this build a viable option for a total newbie player? The only PoE-like game I'v played was Diablo 3 which is like a demo, preschool version of PoE...
Best content creator to watch for builds is probably Zizarian, I tried to make my guide new player friendly, but it doesn't go to the level of depth he does with walking new players through every step of the leveling process and entry to endgame. This build will be fine for you, but you might have to do some research into the game about general things. That's true for everyone new to POE though. I'm 8k+ hours in and still learning.
It doesn't trigger Fortify, we get that from Overlord on our Large Cluster Jewel. The gloves do give us +10 fortification stacks, which is a lot of defense, and they also give us 1% additional Attack Speed per stack of Fortification (so 30% with them equipped).
Just getting ready for league start and for some reason all the notes have disappeared from the POB. Have I done something wrong or did you remove them?
whoever see's this and thinks "no dmg, looks bad" remember, this has none of the buffs yet that are about to come in a view hours. this will be way stronger when the patch hits. totally gonna save me the pob, in case my other build fails me (or as second build). thanks!
any tips on how I can increase the movement speed while spinning. I love spin2win, but I hate being slow, I don't mind sacrificing some damage for more movement speed, what do you suggest?
Cannot get to 100% hit chance on your 90 crit conversion or 100 giga end game build without war banner placed. We aren't gonna have 100% uptime on this though as we will be using it on bosses. running around the map with 93-95% hit chance (93-95% crit chance) feels like shooting ourself in the knees. Is there any way to solve this.
Great feedback! An accuracy roll on gloves address this on the Lvl 90 crit version, will need to take another look at the Endgame version (that is going to be constantly revised by me as I theorycraft it over the league).
Bro, i'm really in a fucking huge conundrum right now. I wanted to start as a molten strike jugg, it has slightly more damage (like x2-x3 times) than this with similar budget, but man oh man your build looks juicy. Maybe i will start this one instead.
It really depends on the price of forbidden flame/flesh. I really want the lucky block but if it's expensive, I'd go for mageblood and flask setup, then craft a good weapon.
hey, sorry i watched the whole video but i still did not understand what in your opinion is better, Normal Cyclone or Tumult? thanks in advance o7 and keep up with the good content
At the beginning of the league its worth buying devoto devotion for more mov speed and att speed. Also new gloves with fortify looks great for cyclone. And consider vaal pact maby.
I personally think Vaal Pact is a trap, makes it so we can't have any life regen, which will feel terrible with all the degen effects in this game. Gloves and helm are great suggestions tho.
im a noob, so far i have tried lightning arrow, minion build and now considering trying this one. It always goes well untill i finish the campaign. As soon as i start mapping i have trouble getting my 6 links and getting my resistances up. I end up with low damage and get destroyed coz my chaos resistance usually is way too low, had -6% on last run. I know im missing something but i cant understand what it is. Equips with good resists cost minimum 1 divine which i dont have, i end up using all my orbs trying to get one 6 link and end up with a 4 link weapon and low resists. What do people prioritise once you finish the campaign? How do you get your resists up? Do you buy your initial rares or make them?
Honestly, unless you know how to craft gear, it's probably easier to just sell whatever drops and buy the items you need from trade. I didn't learn how to really craft in this game until I started playing SSF and had to learn all the subsystems involved.
U doing it wrong trying to jump from a 4l to 6l. Get some nice 5l. U can find it on trade corrupted for fair price. U dont rly need a chaos res unless u know u rly need it. Overall there is a very little things deals chaos damage. For general mapping u only need capped ele res and somwewhat decent phys defense (block mitigation avoidance we suits ur build). Leveled gems is also important. U need to keep an eye on ur gem lvl after finishing camp. Usually its good enough but if u swapped ur gems somewhere at the end of camp and its lvl 1 u get rekt. For gearing i suggest u to watch some vids or guides. I believe ziz got it covered. there is too many ways to get ur starting gear to fit it in one comment. And the best advice i can give is if u have any questions always ask google. It gives u much more than a random poe player will. Many will give u answers based on their preferences or just some generic shit. Poes learning curve is kinda harsh and reading guides mechanics etc makes it much more efficient.
@@SaNaViXX so the "cooldown recovery of travel skills" is not important? I think that's the only difference. Replica has "socketed travel skills have 80% more damage"
