I suppose we all fall to the Meta Memes. But instead of the self attack route, we are going to load up on ranged attack totems and waddle around to kill our enemies! This build is an excellent choice for mapping and boss killing that can start on a budget and move up to insane damage with investment!

I know its kinda obvious, but would be nice if you mention the Ancestral bond keystone as well. Newer players might get confused when they see it in the passive tree :) other than that....quality content. Good job bruh!

I've been tinkering with this... I'm quite pleased, honestly, though I haven't gotten terribly far yet. 5L Quill Rain w/ skirmish - Insane ROF for the totems. Tabula Rasa (totems x4) > Ele Hit, Ele Prolif, Inc Ele Dmg, Chain, Faster Attacks, Ranged Totem I've found that chain works *far* better for pack clearing than multi proj mostly because of the insane prolif. Unfortunately, like every other build I've ever tried, the life/defense pool sucks - even if I follow the recipe perfectly, I never get more than, maybe, 2/3 what streamers are sporting.

I played almost the same build last league as Scion with Barrage and TS instead. I did try EH this league, but in the end it wasn't fun to play the essentially same character again. With Scion I chose Hiero and PF. PF gives you a lot of movement speed and sustain while sacrificing just one totem. Also you gain access to the ranger area with a lot of flask and attack skill damage nodes and acrobatics as additional defense.

Prophecy for 1c per 1, vaal orbs for 1c per 1, 40 maps for 10c-8c, 40 amulets for ~35 chances. Some vaal rolls can be sold for 50c - 60c ( like 2 rows of global inc. strengh / dex / int , some like global increased fire damage could be sold for 100c ). We was trying to find vaal that doesn't exist anymore ... woops .

Played with this build in incursion, delve and betrayal. Its really nice build, but in its too squishy for 3.5. Still killed 3 red elders and mastermind without helmet enchant, gem swap and in +2 tabula. Thnx for the build, it was fun half a year, but its time to change this build for more meta version. Hopefully i will use it in next league!

For everyone in my guild in path of exile, please refrain from using the guild stash as your dump tab. At league starts 1c uniques may be useful however filling the stash with goredrills, other shit uniques, and boots with 5 max life and 1 resistance a full month into the league is not okay. The guild stash is there to help eachother out. If I continue to see trash being put in the guild stash I will request logs from GGG and remove those members. This goes for all 3 leagues: softcore, hardcore and standard.

Got my first Uber Elder kill this league with a fairly similar build. But went Cheiftain instead of Heirophant. This limited me to 3 totems, but it does have a lot of appealing features, like extra fire pen, totems that taunt, and life leech off my totem's crazy damage. It also let me go blood magic instead of relying on MoM. Put my Ele attack/totems into a +2 Fire/+1 all gems bow, which freed up chest for Kaom's heart for 7.3khp with multiple zero health items in other slots. Most notably, helm (Devoto's Devotion) and Boots (Omeyocan) - which give much needed move and attack speed. Swapped out the boots for Kaom's Roots just for the Uber Elder fight though. I don't think ever using GMP for this is worth it, as rain of splinters give plenty of coverage without eating a gem link with a less multiplier. Also prefered Poachers aim over Pierce... with the aoe explosions from ele hit I just never found myself needing more pierces for clear. Prefered Gems were Ele Hit - RaT - Empower - Ele attack dmg - Combustion - Fire Pen.

It requires a fair amount of items to work, I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to play it gimped until you get the items.

Im quite new so please dont flame me. When you take Ancestral Bond you get the extra totem but then arent allowed to damage anything yourself, so how will having Frenzy / Inc Crit / CoH / Proj Weakness in the mix help if you cant damage anything directly? Sorry if this is a silly question but im a little confused. PS. I love your videos, so helpful and pro made :)

We don't need to do damage with Frenzy, we just need to Hit enemies. Hitting an Enemy will provide us a Frenzy Charge via Frenzy, it will also apply a Curse via Curse on Hit and if we Critically Strike it will proc Elemental Overload. All of these don't require that we deal damage, just that we 'Hit'.

uber elder fight will be always hard for miners/totems, you cannot aim their hits yourself, you have to relay on placing them right and hoping they will hit just where you want, so traps are waaay more reliable for uber elder

What is the earliest level you can get ranged attack totem and from what vendor/quest? What is the earliest level you can get elemental hit? The Hierophant doesn't have early access to rat and elemental hit correct?

In the guide there is no mention about any auras - is it really so that no aura would really benefit this build? not even anger or wrath? what about herald of ash? In my build version (based on this build) I chose to use windscream boots, so I could apply two curses to mobs at one time. I chose to use flammability which is triggered from CWDT (lvl 8) (projectile weakness comes via frenzy as specified in the guide).

Anger would only provide a very small amount of flat damage in comparison to EH base damage (Same with Wrath and even less due to AoF). HoA would do nothing, and Auras in general would hurt our Mana pool for MoM. Curses also do little for end game bosses and I wanted to get the most out of my Boot Slot.

What do you think about going Scion with hiero/chieftain ascendancies with higher budget? U get much needed sustain while losing 1 totem ps. going crit is an option?

Losing a totem is a huge damage loss, so it might not be great. Guess it depends on what you value more, the life/sustain or the damage.

let's say im 'totem guy', but never played ranged attack totem build. looking at ele hit i can safely say the dmg is very good, and EE dont have super gg gear still, so if you acquire gg items then 1 totem loss although is big, for bosses like uber elder this leech could be the difference what could make this build even better boss killer

Even a troll timber is viable. The real issue is the chest. yes +3 on a 6-L is insane for this. But so is a kaoms heart. you're already using 2 uni rings, a uni helm, etc. this pushes me to a bow everytime. Still Rat is a viable but missuse of Ele hit, which has to be nerfed. As a 4 link item (1c or less) with ele hit can pull 5.8million shaper dps.

tbh u just need +3 bow(2 fire + 1 general), kaoms, 2 uniq rings, rare quiver(or totem one), gloves/boots/helmet pretty flexible i would say. We talk about higher budget so we could afford very good rare items to fix res etc.

I was playing this with my deadeye and was blown away how powerful it was, but since i prefer using that to farm, I got rid of it, but I started the league with a hierophant.... so i guess im switching it to this guy.

I find the 1 pierce quite week. Rain of splinters isnt too bad, but why use it if we can sub GMP easily and get more damage and have another good jewel.

I just watched the whole video but I am not really sure what it was about. I kept hearing small background noises caught by the microphone including but not limited to: a mouse click and the collar of a very brown dog. I was so upset by these events that I couldn't concentrate on whatever you were saying. I'll just assume this build was made so you can strengthen your hold on the Tabula market. Sad....

what about using Cloak of Defiance? will the 10% damage taken as mana stack with the ascendancy node for overall 50% damage taken as mana? 30% from MoM, 10% from ascn and 10% from Cloak. idk if it would be good with out investing in a big mana pool and regen, but using a tabula as an end game gear is weird for me :)

Sure, you could use that. You would most likely have to link and socket Elemental Hit into the Bow due to colors.

i got a Skin of The Loyal with +2 AOE gems corruption, it has a +1 lvl gem implicit. colors are 3G2R1B, which cannot be changed :) im planning to use it with these links: ele hit - GMP - pierce - totem - ele dmg - combustion is there a better combination? dmg on full life is the same dps as ele dmg according to POB but most of the time i wont be on full life cuz of my play style :) so ele dmg will get me a more consistent dmg. with 20\20 gems i should get like 400-450k dps for mapping. POB shows the damage per totem, but is it per projectile? idk if this skill shotguns or not, but even 400k per projectile is very good for mapping.

I just leveled a Deadeye Elemental Hit - Mirage Archer, for a more active playstyle (with 3 elements intact), but upon reflection, Elementalist Mirage Archer would have been a better choice.

Should always block one element out if possible (elemental equilibrium if just one blocked - elementalist might have another way) otherwise you are doing ele hit wrong. No joke, your losing like 70-100% more damage or more. MA is the most fun leveling gem ever however.

If you don't have really high armour, granite usually gives more mitigation. I'm guessing with a tabula his armour is not very high

I did something very similar just went crit with piscators + lycosidae + frostferno + kaoms heart. Killed shaper with it for the first time. It's more expensive but it might be better, not really sure.

It does, and rather well. Turns totems into machinegun turrets. I'm not sure if Attack Speed nodes affect totems, or *only* those nodes that specifically address totem attack & cast speed. Since it has a 30% less attack speed *than you* I believe that those nodes affect ranged/spell totems as their attack/cast speed is based off of the characters (I think?).

To Engineering Eternity I notice that the 3 rare Jewel have +15% fire resistance and that scale the damage. How does it works?

It was to fill out my fire resistance, also to ensure my fire was higher than my other resistances for wise oak.

How do you even have the dex to equip the chin sol? at level 62 im at 99 dex, no where close to getting the 200+ needed to use it. I know ill get some from my helm but its only 57 dex

Yeah at 62 you will need all the dex nodes in the tree until you get the proper gearing for the extra dex.

Tibasu this is the problem the demand is on the jewels cause it's 99% of the time "fire elemental hit" and that 1% guy who does "cold elemental hit" and no one builds lightning only

For more damage you should go with frostferno with a +2lvl to fire/projectile/cold gems. Because it gives you Ele hit lvl 27! If PoeWiki is correct you get twice the damage on the skill gem

i know they are new, but why they are so rare in std? is std that lean in people right now? i dont like leagues cuz it means to start over from scratch every time, not for me.
