Thanks for the guide, this is just in time for me After I saw bashtart champion impaler I made a deadeye too ,cause I always like the wind, I don't have that explosion glove so I made a herld of ice instead, didn't go very far yet but seems pretty good, I'm using two elemental damage foil btw This guide will help me make better decision on my ascendcy choice I think juggernaut is also a good choice, even jugg doesn't have that much damage like deadeye and champion, but the defense gonna make it even

Almost identical to the build I did (I've removed all the gear now though as re-rolling). Shattering steel is a lot better than people made out. Didn't do Uber Elder as never got that far, but cleared everything else just fine, and pretty quickly. I liked Haemophilia, produced fewer stragglers when clearing, but yeah, tombfist a much better single target choice. I used Daresso's defiance which is a pretty good option too, mainly used for a change though since it got buffed.

Aspect of the spider is great for this build. Plus, the -movespeed stacks with maim. Been using it with my shattering impale champion.

Great video, I love every build you make dude, but, can you extend it for like 5-10 seconds to see what Uber elder drops? It's a bliss to watch those prismatic jewels hit the floor XD.

IDK what people are expecting but to me this build looked like it's fast, good clear, and has great burst single target damage. Do people expect it to be as good as a geared out Arc Miner or what?

I made a shattering steel Champion build so I'll try this next. I really think shattering steel deserves more love; it's such a cool skill.

This is great. I think it's pretty obvious that the steel skills will get reworked somehow. When that time comes, I bet that most of this build will still be relevant and any changes will only be an improvement

I challenge you to do a SSF non-meta build guide. No uniques required. Only needs to be Elder and slightly red maps viable. Upgrades for more power.

i have made another version, i use a cast when damage taken with blood rage so i can get frenzies and then i use flicker to get the bonus from beltimber

I did a decent bleed impale champion that uses shattering steel, the clear is okish and if you can stack impale and bleed on bosses you do a pretty good dot

Hope people try out pure physical more often now. I still see people complain about no stack sticks meaning attack builds are dead

EE you should really look into fork interaction with shattering steel. It sounds like it might not make any sense at first, but it causes a lot of overlap and really bumps up the single target DPS. There have been some reddit posts about it and a lot of high level shattering steel players listed on poe.ninja are using it. Apologies if you talked about this, I just checked gem links section real quick and noticed it wasn't there.

Hello, I run a shattering steel champion, and I was wondering what your DPS numbers are. I used to run lancing steel with dual strike for single targets and I found that shattering outperformed both for single and multi targets. What's your double strike DPS? My lancing DPS was easily twice my shattering, but shattering outperformed it greatly. I have had trouble figuring out when gems just make the number greater, but hinder performance, and vice versa. Also, I run a grelwood + beltimber setup, and I'm not sure if I should just double up with either, but I almost always have the additional projectile from both blades. Did you look into getting iron grip? That is one of my keystone's, but I guess it's far from your area. Thanks for giving me hope that I can keep going!

This might be a dumb question but if we want as many projectiles as possible then why no GMP? Surely it will offset the damage reduction when you hit with all projectiles?

First of all, I want to thank you on sharing this build guide with your audience. It is clearly well thought out, so I appreciate that. However, I was extremely offended that you chose to play as a Deadeye. I ran this through PoB and I was able to get about 50% more health as a Frost Knight. First of all, use a Kaom's Heart. Just this chest alone will give you about 1500 more mana. Run MoM and instant tankiness here. Also, you can tell all your friends you six-linked an item. (This chest has no links so they cannot tell you you did not if there are no sockets or links). Instant check-mate. Someone may say, "Sure bud, Kaom's Heart sounds great here but that is very expensive." Honestly, if I'm being honest, usually what a gamer like me would say is just grind fam to be honest. I make 25 exalts an hour farming mirrors in The Southern Forest. Kaom's is only about 10 chaos last time I looked. There really is no excuse. I want to conclude by thanking you again for this build. While I do think this build is much more viable as a Shaman or Frost Knight, I do believe your footage is sincere. I saw no evidence to suggest that photoshop was at use here. (Some sketchy lagging around the 4:56 mark suggesting tampering). Keep it up man, your builds are really fun.

Seen a few people lately playing this with fairly well-rolled Paradoxica swords, did you happen to take a look at those at all? Looked pretty ridiculous.

Why is tailwind 20%? It starts with 10% then adds 10% effect for each skill (not number of uses) used recently. I can see 5 active skills which would put the effect at 15% MAX (10% + 1% for each active skill used recently). 15% is a fat buff nevertheless.

Sad that the new "Steel" gems require really specific items or Ascendencies to feel good. Wish it'd be buffed in the next patch.

you should add phase run to the build, since your using belltimbers, this way you can gets its 2 additional proj on demand, simply spam phase run when your attacking instead of leaping around.

I searched the written guide, but did not see you mention the Fork support. It's been proven to, without pierce, cause a local shotgun for each projectile, causing 3 hits per single projectile. Did you test this at all? My character follows similar 2xBeltimbers, but adds GMP (probably overkill on the projectiles) and fork.

If a build takes that much currency to do endgame then it does live up to the disappointment of being a bad league starter. Sure, it works when currency has been sunk into gear for the skill but then again, which skill doesn't benefit from this....

Why use a basalt flask if you're scaling no armor. A granite flask gives you waaaay more than the always 15% if you have basically no armor to begin with, specially with up to 100% increased armor during flask effect. Or am I missing something?

Meanwhile you have like 100 other builds with 75% less budget that can do the same thing and from a distance. Good effort though, but it's still lackluster.
