Rather than using divines I have been sniping the Vaal version for 12c at a loss just for science, first league I've felt I could do that without feeling bad about my wealth. Good that, good jewels, good video let's hope others but and experiment more.
GG, GGG random uniques with no way of telling if they are good or not is a great idea(especially since they have potential to be gamebreakingly powerful)!
I really don't like this design. Different random outcomes based on a range, really? If they would stick with names ans factions, fine. But that is just ridiculous.
tl;dw It's cheaper and easier to build a character around a Timeless Legion Jewel from the start (2nd chard), than it is to find one (Divine One) for your lvl 95 character.
no, this is not better than synthesis at all, are you kidding? this is PUREST rng, and even if you get something good you will have SO much trouble selling it, if you're not a public figure
@@tamarap13 maybe, maybe not, who knows? all I'm saying is - synthesis crafting sucked a little bit, but the end result was clearly defined and transparent, you could trade crafted items and build around items you don't have yet
@@iSammax It's pure rng for the elegant hubris jewels sure as it completely transforms notables, however for the other jewels (bar one) it's not as rng as it only adds extra stats to passives you already have. Still rng ofc however with every divine you use to reroll you will get at least something useful from your gem.
Your video is so good except the time your cursor stay on the note is too short. Please let your cursor stay just 1 second longer that will be much easier for us to pause and have a look. Many ppl haven’t seen this stuff and need to pause.
@@rainbownaja That's just for Keystones. Chitus will turn a Keystone into Supreme Ego, Victario for Supreme Grandstanding and Cadiro for Supreme Decadence.
Ive been holding on to mine like a crazy person..instead of selling. The fact that most people dont know how they work tends to inflate the economy as they are dumped out for currency. The interesting part though is even those who knows how they work can only check the areas where they have slots available, unless they either burn regrets for science, or have a scion character that just ggoes around grabbing every socket for the sake of checking jewels. My point is, even if it is total garbage for the sockets you have available, it may be a stupid strong jewel somewhere else. So why sell them for pocket change you can farm in 1-2 maps, instead of stashing them to try on another character that will be somewhere else on the tree. At the same time, if you find a GG setup, good luck selling it at a higher price for it, since no one will know it is a GG setup, or where it is on the tree, until they buy it.
If you are looking for a Minion damage Elegant Hubris just check the 122700 commisioned to Victario. It gives 320 percent increased minion damage in the jewel spot on top of the Witch location

I honestly think the Timeless jewels are unnecessarily complicated. I have played this game for 4-5 seasons and I have yet to understand Timeless. For one, I am not going to shop for a jewel if I don't know exactly what it does and it seems they are very random with the way they change the nodes.
im looking to get some specific eternal notables. but i have no way how to go about it. also, the notables i get with my timeless jewel dont get changed. they just get something added. same with the travel nodes :O
So the only thing you can do is buy one with the faction corresponding to the keystone you want and then throw divines at it until it turns into something good.
@@asmosisyup2557 That's what I mean. You buy the jewel that can roll the keystone you want, then continue to divine until you get it with a good notable roll.
depends on how it works, there might be groupings that mean that it's effectively only like, 30 different outcomes, and then a slight change to how strong it gets. like 2500 might be in teh same group as 16000, but one gets higher numbers, or something.
I'm playing a 88 Slayer Cyclone. Would you say it's worth using 10c to try and buy 1? (Im kinda new, been playing almost 3 weeks.) Also, can't find upgrades still at my gear from long time ago. :(
I have a question, that I couldn't find an answer to it. I got Militant Faith with Dominus as a High Templar, it gives 3% to spell damage per power charge, so the question is can I get 6% per power charge for two keystones? or timeless jewels restricts having keystones to one only? that when I got two keystones on my tree my damage didn't change.
Thanks! This was much more clear than your short little bit on Baeclast, but I understand you didn't want to get too in depth without having the visuals to show everyone.
Mine offers 320% inc melee damage (if you take the spiritual aid node) on top of that it offers 15% chance to gain power charge on hit and 10% more damage frenzy + endurance charges and 50% inc damage with bleed was fun to mess around with and I was melting a lot of bosses problem was I lost like 2.5k life.

that would make people create characters over and over again until they hit something f*cking broken. Way to much RNG in this. But could be fun for some Private (void) or temp (void) league.
Easy money as a streamer with reputation. Since there is no way to trade those without beeing scammed, you need middlemans that does the trades for a 5% cut
Thanks for the video, while I haven't had any drop for me I have been rather curious to how they work. Ironically that jewel you rolled would be perfect for my current build haha.
The thing is, how do you sell the jewel? you'd have to post screenshots in the trade forums (do they even exist still?) with a link to your item on the trade site. That's the most straightforward "not-relying-on-trust" system i can see for selling these jewels. i would @#$% love that jewel on my minion build. It also raises a point that if your going to use timeless jewels, you should probably have a scion that has all jewel slots unlocked just to see what they do, incase your about to roll over an absolutely godly jewel (on the other side of the tree).
Actually screenshots wont work, since you can't capture the jewel ## and the notables in the same screenshot (hence scamming). You would literally need to post a youtube clip *like this* to prove that ## applies those notables.
I don't think they expect you to trade them. You're supposed to see something incredible and make a build around that yourself. To trade you pretty much have to use a reliable middle man and holy shit, do I not envy you if you find yourself in that position.
Depends on the build, my pet build wouldn't care about losing the one keystone but could really benefit from an additional 160% extra minion damage. And as many bosses die in about 30 secs as it is, they might as well not even exist with the 160% damage boost. Which with my build means roughly 400% minimum extra damage with attacks every second, which means absolutely absurd dps. And that is before the instant army that is Vaal Summon Skeletons (Just add water)
Note: the Karui jewel adds +2str to every travel node and +4str to *every other minor node,* so socketing one in any densely-packed area of your build will get you a bunch of life & increased melee phys as well as whatever notable bonuses the seed gives you.
Yes, but you could, you know, put an actual good jewel in there and probably gain a bunch more. It has to hit multiple good things in notables to be worth it, IMO.
I've been searching like mad, but cant seem to even find info on how one would get any of these jewels.. The wiki just says you get one by corrupting 5 and vendoring them - but how does one even get the first five o.O That bit of info on the wiki, is insanely far from helpful. Anyone care to shed some light on this? Is it just random drops from the timeless encounter (the map/emblem) ?
As mentioned briefly on the POE website under the Legion info and in more depths in ZiggyD's introduction video as well as the BaeCast followups, these jewels are random dropped by the Legion generals. Normal Legion encounters drop splinters which can be crafted into a "breachstone" with 100 splinters. You put these stones in the map receptacle for encounters that have only Legion mobs. These encounters also guaranteed encounter with generals. You can encounter generals in normal Legion encounters too and they can drop the jewels as well, but apparently at a much lower rate.
@@kevinleugan6037 Thanks for the info in regards to the jewels. I was aware of how to get splinters/emblems, as I've run a fair bit of those emblem fights already (10-15 3/4/5-way fights, mixed), at the time of writing my initial comment) - must just have been really unlucky and not gotten any jewel drop.
I believe the notables are boolean. You either have it or not, so the double +80% minion damage is not possible. It will only count as +80%, not +160%. Please check this information. I remember reading something around those lines from Mark a little while ago on reddit.
Swapped a jewel with only a single 80% node in for the one with 2 on a tree with spritual aid, and tooltip damage was affected by the loss of 80% minion damage. Seems to work fine.
@@steezy3294 well, the +30 dex/str/int notables are all named differently. i.E. Might and Alacrity both give + 30 Strength. but yes the only thing that is unstackable are keystones
