Glad someone else noticed this Replay issue. I hate it every time I have the perfect shot, but the blur would go away, if only we were all standing with the camera facing west. It also forgets you even made any depth blur settings…until it remembers, ruining several pieces of footage.

However we still have a few blockers releasing it due to the Nintendo Store page needing to be updated to be flagged with Nintendo Online which is preventing the patch from going up. We don't have an estimate on when this will be completed however hopefully soon."
The worst ramp time I had was some how a dasp land a hit on me when I was bellow him and the bite barley was on my screen and it still count as a hit. I feel like dasp bites have op hit boxes. But now on what happened is that after I was one tap because lucky feathers saved me I want to fly somewhere and when I landed I died 💀. But the thing was a was flying slowly 💀. Goody ah flying damage.
I’m relatively new to the game, but the map traffic thing has been annoying especially on realism and semi-realism servers. Like we’re supposed to be out and about yet everybody is just sitting in the same area half the time I’m on. Panjura servers has been a lot better in that regard at least.
I been fighting with these settings so much to try and get them to look like what I used to be able to do with aperture, on rare occasion it kinda looked right and at least now I know why lol. The problems still have killed my interest in using replay mode
As someone who loves making PoT documentaries, I FEEL YOU! Ever since the update the Replay system has been super off, missing lots of options that don’t work and indeed the weird sharp/blended shots. I am also experiencing an almost grainy noisy texture to grass and land, working with FXAA and Cinematic settings apart from the shadows. Hope they will fix all this soon…
I used to use Nvidia's Ansel to edit and work around replay mode's weird depth of field. Haven't been able to use edit mode since the update :( Hopefully Nvidia released an update soon.
Probably frustrating for you and other content creators, hope they improve this soon! Personally I hope for DLSS/XeSS/FSR because TAA (on PC) blurs everyhing too much ingame. Thankfully this is not a real problem for most players, however gameplaystuff is.
It’s already been reported numerous times, but the current problem with the hitboxes being out of whack is really making dasp (and bone break in general) more op than it already is otherwise. As for other problems, I keep having moments where my character will get stuck inside of the map/under the map with such frequency that it’s hard not to laugh. Hopefully, Alderon will fix these issues soon (especially the hitboxes and sound effects bugs).
I hate the big discord groups too that just KOS everything in IC/HT & SG. ( *Cough* as a person in a 5-10 discord group but we travel around and never KOS just because) However hot spots isn't bad if you're trying to grow just stay away from them. But I feel the reason for this is because there is nothing else to do but PVP since there isn't many new dinos nor a new map.
Not that my opinion matters, but here's how I feel about officials. I LOVE the wild west feel. I love being able to say 'I want small fights - I'll go to respawn areas and fight the 1 off person' or I'll say 'I wanna fight a clan with my friends, let's go to a hotspot. People just need to understand that they can't go anywhere they want and they can't be shook when they're ganged up on. People need to put themselves up to the appropriate expectations, be aware of their surroundings, trust no-one and have an exit plan. The official servers are the wild west, and the community servers are a more custom tailored experience for people who want a specialized experience that fits their niche. I hate community (except Juniper's), but I am a HUGE advocate for having a place for each player to go to. I compare it to children and cars. Children need to go play on a playground and cars need to drive on the street. You can't venture onto a road and be upset that you interact with cars, and if cars venture into a play ground... well, I'm sure you can use your imagination - damage is done, cops are called and people are 'banned'. Playing this game is a who laned road and people need to understand that there are wild westers, or players who love the feel of raw no-ruled servers such as official and it's not fair to force them into a ruled experience when the community servers are designed for players to have a custom made tailored experience. I'm a raw pvp hardcore official player who would never expect all unofficial servers to switch to the same no-ruled experience just because I enjoy that experience and I would appreciate role players to respect that my home is the official servers - the land of the nasties.
Yea, it's completely a matter of taste i 100% agree, my look on behavior is more for the "pro" chatters, rage baiters and those who get super tilted, i'm sure you've also seen the extremely angry peeps in global after they die xD
The one thing I’m not a big fan about the mods is that most the mods don’t really have very creative trophies mainly the primordial tyrants they’re actually quite lazy. Same thing goes with the divine beasts meanwhile, the mod teams that made the Andrew the kapro the Cam the acro and the Yang has far more creative trophies, and yet the primordial, tyrants and divine beasts are far too lazy to make their own trophies either just make it a skull or simply head or even a foot or even the animals tail
they arent lazy at all dude. i mean just a couple of months ago most trophies from mods were all the same. if a trophy really dictates how u play a mod or how u think of a mod then...sucks to suck? "just make it a skull" which takes time, money and effort, along with waiting for it to be approved by devs. learn to appreciate more...
I'm not a huge fan of mods for different reasons such as alot of them just being vastly stronger than the official roster, i wouldnt call the mod devs lazy though xD
If u have nivideia Something that use to fix this (esspecaly the blur uget from takeing screenshots close up) in replay was to just press alt f2 for screenshot mode but for soem reqson screenshot mode just doesnt work anymore it just takes me to game filter mode.
Finally switch is getting updated soon! I bought it on Xbox but some dinos (like steg and other tail attackers) feel sooo different and its very difficult for me to play em now. So im now growing a rhamph on officials ONLY by stealing trophies.
The biggest problem in the game right now are the whack ahh broken hitboxes, I don't even know how an update that had nothing to do with hitboxes broke them so badly, specially modded dinos, they have some whack ahh attacks.
The discord groups finna get worst since the devs trynna push 200 pop servers. While it's good because everyone will be spreader out, but now you'll get ganged by 40 people
