Opening and reviewing the Urban Starter Set for the Pathfinder Flip-Tiles by Paizo.
This set contains basic streets and alleys between buildings for an urban environment, as well as a few city walls or town center tiles. They are printed on both sides of the tiles, generally with roofs over the buildings on one side and showing building interiors on the other. The tiles are 6"x6" and are coated to allow both wet and dry erase markers to work with them.

Hi Adam. Thanks again for another great video. I’m such a nerd, but I love watching these! Would you consider doing a video presentation on several of your flip-tiles, so that we may see them in combination? For instance, making a cool dungeon using your various dungeon tiles? Or combining different urban tiles to make an awesome section of a city - maybe with one of your awesome flip-mats. Just a thought. :-)

Thank you; I'm not sure when I'd get around to it - but it has been added to my list of possible ideas that I pull from when I need to come up with a new video.

This unboxing actually convinced me not to buy this because all of these seem to be tiles of alleys. I am actually looking for an urban set that can also help me to create large squares or wide streets or large rows of buildings or perhaps rooftops for my players to climb on. There are scenes coming up where they go into large mansions. Thank you for the unboxing video! It has been a great help.

hrm .... a lot of 10ft by 10ft houses .... so a beding and a crate and a chair and some table if you want it cramped... I do not know what I would want to encounter in a room that is more than full if all 4 players enter. This is just such a rare need which kills it for me :-/ for a chase scene in the streets alleys and on rooftops I can see them but that is niche also.

Yes, I've found that the modular nature of tiles you arrange yourself is not worth the uniqueness and visual interest of the flip-mats. My personal recommendation after owning quite a few of both is that if you are going with preprinted 2d terrain, the flip-mats are better.

Sort of... I filmed a video that shows off some example setups using the flip-tiles and flip-mats, which does include a city that fills my table made of one flip-mat and a bunch of these tiles. It also shows using the other tiles, and so I'm not sure when I'll get around to editing it - but it has been filmed at least...
