Patience is a word that's been coming up a lot recently and something I must remind myself of every day of this journey. "You can't push yourself into enlightenment, you can only wait for grace..." (Ram Dass)
I hope you enjoy this recent piano composition. Another melancholy, sad, emotional, beautiful piece. I'm really enjoying the process of creating. It always amazes me, I set out with nothing particular in mind, a feeling maybe, a simple little pattern of a few notes, and after anywhere between a few minutes and many many hours playing around, a new piece emerges. Something I had no idea what it would be when I first started out. I am truly grateful to be able to do this and to share these with you. Piano composition number 5 now!

very expressive and dominat. i have vocals that flow with this run i'm a rock vocalist and this fits, very capturing to the depth the spirit can hear and understand , very nice piece,

Another gorgeous and emotional piano composition, dear Pete! I love your use of minor keys, your memorable chord progressions, and the flowing arpeggios. Those low notes were quite the surprise, though! Thanks for sharing the information about your composition process. I have similar experiences when working on a new piece. Loved the piece and the background info you shared about it. I love minor chords used wisely and you did just that here. It makes 'Patience' a melancholic, meditative masterpiece which is just my cup of tea. Loved the chord progression starting at 1:20 and how it ends with a nice blend of major/minor tones a few seconds later. Thumbs up!

Good composition and piano sound. Is this a real piano recording?

Thanks Piniu. Well it's played and recorded with a MIDI keyboard connected to my laptop and using a "virtual piano" as the sound - which is done by sound engineers recording a top of the line grand piano in a studio somewhere - and which although can never the same as a real-live recording of a piano still gives a great quality.
