There is an old movie called She Devil. Part of the movie takes place in a nursing home. The over medication was part of the story.

Mr. Cranmer is a real blessing with a big heart. Most nursing facilities just want to keep you alive so they can get the revenue. Thank you sir, hopefully more will follow your example

I have a patient 45 meds. A real hypochondriac. I hope his staffing is on point because the nursing home I work in is severely understaffed. The med alternatives need actual people. And I'll bet bank that the state of Arizona's nursing-patient ratio is just as dismal as my state...Pennsylvania. The most corrupt state next to California. I got tired of arguing about diet with the dietitian. I don't think the majority want old people to be healthy because what would you do with a nursing home or assisted living home full of healthy old people.

There's so much more I can talk about but no one is interested in health. During the first covid wave I worked out outdoors and rode my bike to work. I took my vitamins and didn't get covid.for at least two years not at work anyway.
