It all looks so very nice. I think that you did a great job with it all. I too think that you should not crowd it out with too much stuff. I would add the rug tho because it ties it with the other room/area. It's far enough apart that it shoudl'nt look to crowded.
Looks great! Only one tiny suggestion (because I love plants!). What about having two plant stands for those bigger potted plants to lift them up? That way they would be more visible instead of below table height, and easier to water. Plant stands that are about knee height would be perfect for those. They make them in black metal, just make sure they can handle the size and weight of your planters.
