Debi ~ I would watch you paint all day, everyday if yoy had the canera rolling!!!! You and your fanily ate Magical & I very much look forward to your Amazing videos each & every week!!!!! 🤗🥰
@RNExplorer253 It's simply a matter of prioritizing, and that's precisely what she`s done.😄 We love her because she`s different. Every now and then, she lets us know that she means it.😄😄😄
I have that same iron chair. 🥰 I painted it with fancy farm girl a couple of years ago! It’s been in my backyard in Mississippi!! Rain, intense humidity, intense summers, cold wet winters! It’s held up beautifully! With no topcoat! Wish I could show you a picture of it in this comment! Love DIY paint! Love you girls! Love your videos! Much love to you all. ❤❤
@@beth0385 I did keep it on my back porch which has a roof but no walls, for about 6 months before moving it out into the open yard. My porch is pretty small, so it still got wet sometimes when the rain would come in sideways. By the time I moved it to the yard it was totally cured, and still looks as good as the day it was painted.
Debi try "Sun guard" UV fabric protectant to prevent your pillows from fading. I love your color blends and the way you always tell us how to fix our mistakes. Great video.❤
I just received my first order of DIY paint and wax and brushes! I can not wait to try it! I have so much stuff I want to paint , plus a velvet ottoman! I ordered a velvet ottoman on Amazon long time ago but they sent me the wrong color, pink, and I hate pink. So I have not been happy with it at all but after seeing your video on velvet couch, I feel inspired!! Now the tough choice of which color to use, they are all so beautiful. I am absolutely in love with your channel so please keep up the amazing work! And I will definitely be ordering more colors! 😊. Also you have an amazing family!
Deb, you did an amazing job on your deck and chairs! I love the green metal. It's just gorgeous! And the paint job/design on the chair pads is just, WOW! Love the tropical theme a lot!🌴🐠🍹❤❤❤
Love the deck redo. Make sure to get plants that need/want full sun. Caladiums usually like shade. Petunias. Geraniums. Shasta Ferber daisies. Vinca. Miniature zinnea salvia etc. have a wonderful Lords day.
YES YES YES on that green, I need it now!!! Us DIYers are never deluded by what we can or cannot do...girl, I painted my entire house and garage with a brush and I am 75 yo strong(sorta)...we ain't skeered of nuthin...deck looks amazing, that stencil is amazing, it would look amazing in my tiki bar/porch...hmmm...Elli, you are just too cute...just for the record, I have been binge watching all of your videos for inspiration while the heat is on in Florida, so entertaining...who knew...!
I’m with you, so annoying when you’re ready to start a project and then realize you don’t have something ……like a paint roller. I might have done the same thing 😊. Looks beautiful
Ha, I'm in Oceanside. I had to buy a cheap cushion for my glider. Now I want to paint a design on it after watching your video. Just need to get some paint. Thanks for the lesson.
The plants like shade that you bought. Try fox tails, begonia, sweet potatoe plants, marigolds to name a few they always seem to have at our big chain nurseries. You & your family are too sweet 😊
Your patio is absolutely stunning!! I would watch 4 hours of you painting your patio!! ❤ love the colors!!!! You are an amazing inspiration! Thank you! ☮️
The deck looks great, you look exhausted but thrilled with the outcome come. How is singing this song on your videos? I imagine that Ellie is the singer, she is so cute
I love your patio chairs! My canopy bed frames looks a lot like your chairs, and ive been toying with the idea to paint it chartreuse. Wow, here is pure inspiration! I've been watching your channel off and on, and now im ready to jump into action!! Thank you for being you! I love your energy, quirkiness, and that you love the Lord too!! Yeah!!❤
What can I say! I’m hooked on your videos ❤ and what a dreamy drive on the ocean side ❤. What I totally love that you didn’t use a roller, is that it made you slowdown. Curious to know what you were meditating on ❤. Love you guys & thank you for sharing. Take care ❤
lol well I was painting the deck for four hours. I was listening to a true crime podcast. It was called Scamanda. Very interesting, but not that meditative. 🤷🏻♀️
You inspire me to be much more than I am. I’m an artist The husband been creating all her life and now they’re my children are grown. It’s my time. Anything is possible. Many blessings to you and your sister with the baby and a new house and so it is.
The colors make me think about as a kid how excited I was when Crayola came out with the neon colors. Hey, I just wanted to mention a small channel, Tarnished Treasures. She does great assemblage and has such a pleasant voice.
Debbie.. LOVE this video! Remind me what you do for sealing your paint on outdoor metal furniture and seat cushions, so that when they get wet, they won't run?? Do you ever use a spray sealer for these larger items?
I get it Debbie. I hate stopping when I'm ready to start working. Most likely if I'd have gone to store it never would have happened. Looks GREAT AND I ❤ THAT NEW GREEN!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love your videos so much. I was not feeling well at all today, feeling super down, & in my head as I got home after my bible meeting I was thinking, oh I hope Debi posted a new video that I can sit back & watch & just decompress with my bowl of frozen blueberries. :)-
I’m desperately trying to find your paint in the UK but can’t seem to find a stockist yet. I need sooo much of it, lots of other people do too, and then you’ll be able to give Ellie a raise 😀
To the lady at the thrift store that was snippy......in the words of noodles the pooch: " Cancelling my subscription to your issues." hahahaha. Love that dog. Anyway- that paint you used on the chairs reminds of of old 57. That is my fav color.
I really hope that fabric on your outdoor furniture wasn't sunbrella fabric, that's a lot of sun bleaching. I think there is a retractable sun overhead shade. Good for any potential storm. But rain seems to be rare for you Try mixing the water /paint in a pail. Then paint/stain the fabric, it will be even coverage. Easier and possibly faster. It came out really nice
Ohhhhh yes, I am also in your "I will just use what I have on hand" camp!😂😂 But I applaud your final result!!!!🩷🌴🌴🩵So beautiful!!! I'm finishing up a bathroom redo. 😊
I am redoing some chunky 70’s wood outdoor furniture with loose cushions. Its somewhat weathered after sitting for years on our screen porch but very heavy and solid. So I sanded the finish off and am using Sandy Blonde in a very watered down consistency dabbing, using a spay bottle with water and painting and rubbing off. Hold smokes it looks like an expensive bleached wood piece you’d spend big bucks on. I did a chair and loveseat with less than an 8 oz sample jar! That lamp is gorgeous. Cordey made very similar ones in the 50’s always dripping with gorgeous hand painted flowers. There are also lamps, with birds and flowers, bird/flower figurines, floral boxes and candlesticks. If you like that lamp, you’ll love Cordey. eBay sells tons of it.
Gorgeous make over - whilst I cannot do colour I so love seeing how your use it and make everything so bright and sunny - love the comment on the tree and base - wicked 😂😂
