Volevo scrivere in inglese, ma invece sarò l’unico commento in italiano… oggi è il 12/12/2023 e dopo averlo appena rivisto questo film è ancora (forse) il migliore film di animazione che io abbia mai visto Patlabor il Film
Oh you can brag about John Williams, Hans Zimmer or again Trevor Rabin for composing epic soundtracks, who have more or less imitated the classics from the school of Beethov' but Kenji Kawai remains a master in his own genre.
@@GoldenAgeSk8Video John Williams is definitely not overrated. I think much of his music is overlooked. But I agree about Kawaii, definitely is underrated.
@@Solid_Snake427 Ha, well I'm still around and glad to know someone else digs this tune! Looking back that was a bit of a bold statement I made, that it's THE best piece of music in a film. Maybe I'll dial it back to ONE OF the best pieces of music I've heard in a film. Top 3 for sure.
Where the Beach House fanatics failed in Eps. 1 and 7 of The Early Days OVA, Eiichi Hoba arguably succeeded in The Movie, even if SV2 still assured in lessening the damages.
Ruined an entire OS with millions thrown at it Ruined an entire line of Labors so they had to be dismantled and or HUNDREDS of thousands more yen thrown at them to be completely gutted and formatted. Got the ark destroyed, costing absolute BILLIONS in damages Got one of the most unstable, accident prone teams on the police force to investigate the case Thousands thrown in to private investigators looking in to him........ ...... Yeah, Hoba won patlabor 1 lol without question. He left everything in utter chaos lol We just got to see the collapse and it was damn good! God I love old anime.
@@Onewingerdraven Haha! I guess i tweek around music anyway enough as a hobby. It was something to do, but buried in my subconcious anyway. :D (Just to varify something: Are we talking of Minimal Viable Product here, or Most Valuable Player?!) :D :D :D
@@zoltanormosi5617 Thank you so much for that! I would love to listen to the same track (also extended) but from the 1999 version of the soundtrack - in my opinion that one sounds better, both the vocals and music hit much harder and more emotional and the drums (and the music overall) are definitely clearer.
