To add to the section 8 conversation, it keeps you stifled. I used to manage a restaurant and had a middle aged woman working for me. Sweet lady. One day she comes in and says,”Des you giving me too many hours. They gone cut my section 8 off. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a pool. It’s nice af.” Now this was in Chicago where rents are crazy. If you think long term, yes, she got free rent. The house was in south suburbs in not the greatest area, she has no investments, 401k etc. it’s a trap.

26:29 I’ll personally say it for Queenz Flip. Although I am now a fan of everyone, I only started watching the JBP because I saw him and M4 added to the cast in a YT thumbnail. I was curious to see what next for Mel after Hollywood Unlocked, but Flip was the real selling point for me… I wouldn’t watch Flip pod by himself to also be honest, but he brings the energy that the pod needed imo, now that I’ve gone back and watched a few previous episodes. It’s the perfect mix. Keep all six 🫶🏾💖

I lived in apartment complex that had a majority of ppl on section 8 and seen a well known stripper have an eviction notice on her door for not paying I kid you not 16 fucking dollars in rent ! She had a two bedroom apartment and I paid $550 next door for a one bedroom and worked 2 jobs lol I’ve also seen ppl living there and not working but around tax season they had a hummer in the parking lot lol You’ve got to be really naive to believe everyone is a good person and just using those programs bc they need them lol
