This is the kind of song that lets you know you're human. On a good note 2 years later a baby girl was born to them, her name is Poppy Ronan Thompson. All the money goes to childhood cancer research and Mya Thompson is listed as a co-writer since Taylor used Mya's blog to write the song.

I cry every time I hear this song, it’s so important to spread awareness around this subject and I’m glad Taylor wrote a song so Ronan is able to touch all our lives and lives through all of us.

This song gets to all of us, I think. Even after having seen it several times. It's one of the rare songs of Taylor's that I have a hard time coming back to, b/c it hits so hard.

It doesn't matter how many times I listen to this song (which is not many because it hurts too much) I still end up crying my eyes out.

If this song doesn’t tear you heart out then I don’t know.. It’s a painful song to listen to but it’s a stunning piece of artistry and empathy..

I think there is not one person whos not deeply emotionally heartbroken from this song. It is however a song i try to stream every now and then because the proceeds always go to ronan and childhood cancer. On a brighter note Taylor and the family are still in touch and they eventually got another child who’s middle name is ronan.
