I like it when Jim Norton tells the The Spike Lee story because maybe he has a strong memory or maybe he looked up to Patrice as a great friend but he tells the story word for word and has the same tone
Ha ha! Fucking Patrice was a comedy of errors sometimes. He wouldn’t do that movie for Spike Lee but he did Furry Vengance. But that’s what we all loved about him.

Why didnt Patrice explain the Situation to spike like he did in this clip? At worst the bridge would have been burned. Most likely spike would have understood and it would have been ok. Best case, spike would have convinced the big wigs that they were wrong about Patrice. Even if spike committed a faux pas, Patrice could have handlers the situation better. No?
