Patrice acknowledged that opie was a funny and brutal dude. A lot of people won't admit it, especially the late comers who only know the show from RU-vid clips. Opie was responsible for the show existing in the first place and he was the catalyst for a ton of classic moments that made the show what it was. As big of a douche as he is, anyone who's honest will admit how important he was to this show. Patrice appreciated honesty and the putting things in the proper context above all else.
@@josephmedeiros71I didn't discover them until they came to xm and xm charged a couple of bucks to add them to your subscription. Long story short, I listened daily from there forward and Opie was always unfunny, untalented, and uninteresting. He was the obstacle in the way of great radio but Anthony and Jimmy made it work anyway.
11:40 Fucking Patrice yelling his order for an omelette in the background while the guy is talking about the guy that killed himself because of his gambling addiction. Haha
I'VE BEEN DOING RADIO SINCE I WAS 18 AND I'VE BEEN STUCK WITH THIS NICKNAME SINCE I WAS 12 HOW CAN A GROWN MAN POSSIBLY EVER CHANGE HIS GRADESCHOOL NICKNAME?
Wherever there's been a funny room in radio, Tom Chiasano has been there to make it stuffy and awkward. That cancer speed bump was peak cringe from a guy who wanted to be "one of the guys".
