Patrice is so real and still relevant my wife told me when we was arguing one time ...F you and Patrice lol I’m telling you... dude taught me more important stuff than a lot of people did .
As I’m listening to this I’ve been feeling like I was in a funk all day and possibly all weekend before I actually realized it. Patrice explained it perfectly. I’ve been trying to act like I’m not in a funk, but I just didn’t feel like myself. I’m gonna just let the funk ride and stop pretending. Thanks again Patrice, I’m already starting to feel better.
I mean, yea. I’d you don’t let it go. But if you eventually grow up, you get to see these O&A videos for what they are- a reminder of a show that you used to tune into regularly before it got cancelled years ago.
Part of the problem is Patrice allowed it. For some crazy reason he liked and respected Opie. I love Patrice so much that it makes me question my Opie hate. If Patrice liked him, shouldn't I? But he's so bad, how can I not hate him?
Holy… Patrice is such a deep-thinking genius! I’m an athlete, right? There’s times where I’m killing it at my passions and sometimes my swag is off, I don’t know why--and I’m so obsessed with fighting to get it back. I learned something AMAZING from this video. Don’t fight it, relax, you’ll come back. Relax yourself and your mind! You’ll come back! He is spot on! Man… We miss you Patrice. Golly, we wish you were still around, Patreeky. We’ll never forget you! RIP, all us real ones love you!
I couldn’t agree with Patrice more about not fighting your funk and just riding it out. Same with that caller Heather and her respect for her husband and her honesty of how women are with relationships.
@Harold Paulle patrice has a lot of things right and wrong. Hes good at diagnosing issues when he isnt blinded by his ego but definitely not good fixing them.
I feel your pain. I had known he was a comic and think I saw one of his tv standups while he was alive. I then discovered these old O&A's and realize I missed out on getting to see him live and getting to enjoy his standup
Exactly. Listening to Patrice be real about it, then Opie lying about the situation, and then Anthony allowing Opie to lie about it, really pissed me off.
Literally introduced my ex to my friends, she got cool with my best friend at the time and his girlfriend. We broke up and they chose her, they literally wouldn’t even hmu to chill, nothing They literally had her at their house warming party and I received no invite at all I took it on the chin and learned from it
Dude, just don't have friends. Find yourself a girl who's mature enough to just want to be an adult. My Mrs has no friends because she knows 99% of females are just fucking drama, I got a few friends but none of them are significant in my life. Family is all that matters man, friends are for insecure people.
1:06:22 Instead of going with the classic "I've been doing radio since I was 18" the Opester tried to mix it up and say he started radio before he even hit puberty 😂
I wonder what Patrice would have to say about police, police brutality, BLM, protests, riots and everything going on right now. Im sure he'd have a answer that's not in plain sight to most of us.
I used to hear Artie talk about how cool Howard’s brain was and how he operated his show. I love Artie Lange, I hope he’s doing good… However, Patrice O’Neal does not get exposure and credit for how smart he really was. His interpretations of the world were fantastic. He had a spectacular mind.
1:35:00 the difference there with asian and hindu workers compared with black workers is that the asian and hindu workers own the store thats getting robbed and the black worker is just an employee. Thats why those other 2 fight back the robbers. Thats their stuff hes stealing, the black dude just goes home and doesnt have to worry about it because its not his business
I wonder what they offered Patrice when they negotiated to give him his own show. I’m certain that by this point in time, Patrice would have given in and done a podcast.
18:45 Camille Grammar talked about how she was introduced to Kelsey, through an "agent". Real housewives of Bev Hills, first season; when she was fighting with Fae Resnick. (Most women don't admit to it.)
“Cops ain’t shit, they’re just dudes” Hahahhaha. Just dunks on all the male cops feeling themselves as they listen to the broadcast about bashing female cops 😆
What's up guys, I wouldn't want the ex to benefit from none of my connection when you leave you lose in my circle if you don't have the proper connection it's not my fault.
Opie’s lack of comprehension for anything, especially the simplest of things is enraging… thankfully his whole job was to push a button for breaks and let the funny guys run the show.
Patrice knew people and psychology, but movies and financial stuff he was often wrong about. But he also knew how to listen to see a different view and admit when he was wrong. The car payment thing was sooooo wrong and backwards. Always always buy a car on loan amount or price and never on payment. That’s how you end up with a 15 year car loan for a car that lasts 8 years lol.
That dash cam footage is brutal! She was way too comfortable in her authority and careless in proximity of what turned out to be a lethal and drop of a hat violent offender.
Patrice would save opie from himself alot of the times. I whole hearty think Opie and Anthonys relationship could have been saved of Patrice didn't pass
