It's a shame she didn't get into comedy sooner she used up a lot of wasted years in new York but her tenacity got her there in the end, she even went for the role of Elaine in Seinfeld which wouldve been interesting since she'd already met Jason in the ad.
I'm torn about patty, there are quite a lot of things circulating about her being unkind or unpleasant in certain circumstances, like to members of staff etc. On the other hand she's nice on interviews, then she'll say something, just one thing, which'll be curt, or cold, or even sometimes a bit arrogant and I think "yeah, i could see you bein unpleasant to work for (not necessarily with, but for)"
She was also older when she got “famous”, she had opinions and had the age, wisdom and tenacity to call a spade a spade and didn’t need to hide her own views to get ahead anymore
