I work in a nursing home and I always pray and put on the full shield of armor on before walking into the building because the spirits are demonic here
I accepted Christ at a young age. This is one of my dominant giftings. I never had a name for it, but growing up, I always felt weird because I would discern things in people and didn't know why nor did I have a name for it. It's a weird, but very helpful gift.

This is my main gift. God puts me in positions to use it, that often have me confronting spiritual leaders. They don't like that. I really don't either, as it has caused rifts between myself and different congregations. No one wants to be told their doing it wrong. But the Lord told me it is my job. Matthew 7: 22-23. I am to help fix his Church.
I did ask God about Discernment because I didn't know for years . The Lord told me how I have the gift of Discernment . I have not been confused ever since talking with God . But this also means I need to practice what was revealed to me. Glory to Jesus.

I believe I have this gift of discernment all my life even before I was saved, but I didn't know what it was or meant. I've always had it with evil spirits. I've seen it and felt and even know the type of spirit. Until recently maybe for a over a year I've seen and felt the presence of angels or angelic presence and even seen signs through nature that is a new one as well. I've noticed the closer I am to God the stronger and more frequently this happens even when I'm not looking for or seeking it. One thing I know to do when this happens is to pray for the person or situation especially if it's an evil presence.
The gift of discernment is from the Holy Spirit. People who got Born Again , Saved, are given a new heart and a new life they then seek the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" and by faith, Jesus then immerses that Believer into the Holy Spirit and then the Spirit gives gifts to that person to edify the Church and to minister to the world. People who have operated in something similar to that authentic gift is suffering from what the bible calls a familiar spirit. When a person becomes Born Again sometimes demons bother them and they may have had witchcraft involvement before salvation in which case that person renounces psychics, ouji boards, tarot cards, astrology and any other forms of witchcraft and all the works of satan in Jesus Name. Then satan has no legal hold on that Believer . Have you been Born Again? Have you received the New Birth? If so did you seek to be baptized in the Holy Spirit? Do you speak in tongues?
@@nasdcong4502 yes I've been saved and born again since I was 11. The evilness that I sensed as a child I later found out was from a relative who dealt with witch craft...even before I was saved I felt the presence of evil. Once I was saved that's probably when I received the gift of discernment and no longer fear evil. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus and seek God in my life as much as possible. I believe in the Bible verse that says Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

In 2015 I died 2x. The 1st time an angel was next to me and was holding my hand and she filled strength in me.I believe she was my Guardian Angel. 3 days later I died again I walked 15 ft from my body and the Presence of Jesus I sunk to the ground to just soak in His Presence and I was immediately back on the couch. The thing is I sunk to my knees and it didn't hurt .I just had had my knees replaced. 😇
I'm a follower of Jesus Christ. When I speak of the canon, I am referring to the bible in its completed form. When that which is perfect is come, is referring to the "completed scripture" I believe. That is when tongues and those other sign gifts would be ended, because they were no longer necessary! "Where there are tongues they shall cease"

Some think that spiritual discernment is the ability to sense the presences of good or evil spirits, either in the room or in the people around them. While some people may possess this capability, it is not the biblical definition of discernment. Spiritual discernment for the most part, has to do with wisdom… and the ability to tell the difference between truth and error. Hebrews 5:13,14 “…for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” The ability to discern, according to these scriptures, is becoming skilled in the Word of God (word of righteousness) and “constant practice” (by which we gain wisdom and experience). Understand that first of all that God is the only one that give you wisdom and reveal to you what is in the truth...Jame 1:5, if you lack wisdom, ask God.
that is incorrect rodney, the GIFT of discernment is not referenced in the scripture you provided. Hebrews is not speaking of the GIFT of discernment but rather using the knowledge of the word to identify truth from error. The gift of discernment operates in the ministry and this gift definitely alerts me to the presence and operation of unclean spirits.
God is still the same. He gives visions, dreams, open visions, he can take us up to heaven to show it to us, he can take us to hell and show it to us. He can do these things. We must be Saved by Jesus, Sanctified, and Baptized in His Holy Spirit as the KJV bible says. We are to be used of God to bring the lost to Christ, to edify and build up the body of believers. We need a lot of answers today because of all the things the enemy unleashes. We need everything God will give us.
The whole KJV of the Bible is filled with miracles. The greatest miracle is for one to truly reach God, believe what He has in the bible about Jesus and accept HIM as Lord and Savior of their life. He is the only way to heaven. This Jesus had to die shed his blood to wipe out your sins. If our good were good enough, Jesus would not have had to be our sacrifice for sin. If you continue to serve the Lord and are open to anything he has you will see miracles without asking for them.
@thegypsymadonna I feel a gift of discernment. Ever since I was little. Now a prophet told me I have the gift. Lately I haven't been following the lord, however I want to get back to him. I love Jesus, but however I do not know how to start back and apologize my sins to him.

With discernment the very first thing God does, is reveal his true church, there only being one. This is how you know there is no one with this gift. Apostle Paul said, he knew a man taken to heaven and shown unspeakable things, unspeakable because the world views them as lies, and the lies they tell are the truth. It is more important to know God, than it is to have a gift, because they will say they did those gifts in the name of Jesus, but Jesus will say he doesn't know them, and he doesn't know you.
goldrays well then all my life must just be a coicidence in your eyes then I personally have the gift of discerment and she made it out to be some fluffy fairytale beautiful feelings thing it has much more to it than that ive known things that as a child there was no reason for me to know, been able to tell when a demon is in a house or room , dreamed that a family member died only to find out the way a dreamed it is how it happened, known every time when my partner was unfaithful and by god the evidence somehow would always fall in my lap soon after I known, people with true discernment like myself can be on edge its emotionally draining to always KNOW TRUTHS sometimes i just dont want to know the truth as bad as that sounds im always on guard with my emotions constantly wary of those around me and it doesnt help that someone can be on the other side of the house crying and without me knowing they are crying i will start to feel horribly sad and search until i find the source of this feeling...the gift of discernment is massive and broad label for something that has no bounds it can be so draining to feel peoples feelings and know things without a rythm or reason but i know i was given this gift for a reason so i wont ask god to take it back everyone has their separate journey and this is the one choosen for me.
Your supposed to use it to find salvation, not believe the lies told to you, as you believe your already saved =). God knows what in your heart, and he will show it to you, if that's in your heart. This is the true gift, and how it works. Not unlike Moses, I too sought out God, and he introduced me to his son, this vision took place in a mirror, where he was going to help me, 2nd Corinthians chapter 3. Seven years later I was transformed to be like all them written about in the bible, and yes even understand them. At that point I still wasn't saved, but I knew I was looking for the match I was given, that none of the others had. Eventually I asked God to show them to me, and they came for me, just like peter on the roof top. Its not changed, God calls the shots not us. It wouldn't have mattered if I thought I was saved, I wasn't. There are those who want power, or money, but they don't know the answers, that is why Christ sent the Holy Spirit to help us. So please don't be fooled, and led astray by every whim, you owe it to yourself to find the truth, and its not here.

And after Salvation comes surrendering your Will to Entering in to God's Will for your life. Sanctification is also needed. He can call you, and He can communicate with you.
God Shows her the revelation, she knows the bible. And shows us in the bible where the scriptures are. She is coming straight from God with her answers. Have you ever met the Lord, like Paul, like Moses like many others in the bible. They met HIM in very real and wonderful ways. And yes they all read the bible.
Have you ever prayed to God and ask Him what is His will for your life? Of course the first place He leads us is to Jesus and His shed blood always. But later on comes the Baptism in the Holy Spirit which prepares us for service. HE can then tell us what to do, we obey, HE does the work, and we get the credit with jewels in our crown in heaven. We also might get the soul winners crown. It is really quite simple and Ms King is actually simple.
