PG&E had already exited bankruptcy when Patti joined in December 2020; upon joining she was paid nearly $50 million USD (the highest of any US IOUs) in cash and stock to "rebuild" the company. The company stock gained 82% over 5 years, though it should be noted that CA rates have also increased by nearly as much.
