Exactly. Can you imagine the elderly living in say Thurso or Dunreay. Much colder up there than Patrick Harvie's place. Heat pumps will really struggle that far north. This green policy has not been thought through by The Cabbage Patch Kids (Greens)

​@Alan 59I am an ex college lecturer with 40 plus years on the tools, all radiators have to be double the size as it can only reach 55 degrees so is more suited to underfloor heating. Plus they have built in immersion heaters to assist them. Just a gimmick.

Old Council properties in Inverness are having the old heating pumps removed as new parts become unavailable. Why not look at geo heating systems? The technology exists

A friend had a heat pump installed and had it taken out and back to oil. He is now warm again. Have these "ministers"actually had to endure a heat pump? NO.
