we want a fanfic of akiyama being a unstoppable criminal while patrick jane hunting him. basically moriarty the patriot but much cooler. we also understood that akiyama took down a national level organization and only played all safe way in liar's game.

Agreed. People underestimate PJ and overestimate Akiyama. Almost no one watched whole 7 seasons of Mentalist. In terms of being realistic and smart PJ and Baku are on the same level for me too. PJ EQ feats is unmatched.
I agree with the outcome, but mid diff is too low. You made the entire manipulation, but didn’t the strategy, planinho and deception, so overall would be away closer, like extreme diff
You underestimate pj by a lot, this was quite accurate. Pj is an absolute monster when it comes to outsmarting. Imo I keep him pj>akiyama mid-high diff. Baku>pj extreme or could go either way.
thanks for not overrating Akiyama. IMO it should be very low-low diff, PJ negs claps this fodder and should take categories like strategy, planning, mathematical and etc.

I also haven't watched Mentalist but I have seen some episodes and scenes thanks to people around me watching it and I don't see how PJ, a case solver who doesn't have to compete against people and try to keep himself safe while trying to defeat others could outsmart a guy who always wins in the most complex and complicated situations and can only form strategies under tough circumstantions, pressure and given limited moves and certain rules, limited time; and under potential danger, I'm really curious not trying to debate or anything

prety w,akiyama is better as a logical character and a much more realistic one,patrick sometimes is so intuitive based that its just ilogicall thinking like thats just irealistic and too much guesswork ,akiyama is still the smartest realistic character and its more like high diff or mid -high atleast
jane's logical af he's only intuitive in the sense that his case investigations are initially based on small incongruences/ strong intuition but the methods and deductions he uses to actually prove someone is guilty is entirely logical and well thought

He did, PJ outsmarts gambling related games. PJ has a memory palace like Sherlock Holmes where he stores 100+ strategic gambling games and card related pictures. His WMI alone makes PJ mid difference to Akiyama
