Not gonna lie I'm getting misty-eyed just watching the highlights for this game. Chicago still loves Patrick Kane, and Kane still loves Chicago, and I just feel it in the vibes, and see it in their actions. Super grateful to have Kaner on this Red Wings team so he can show the future Wings how it's done. Best American born hockey player ever, by a long shot.

I always felt like Chicago was kind of like Michigan's second team. I mean they are on,,, lake Michigan! And it's not like we've really had a rivalry with them compared to a lot of other franchises. Even when both were in the West, we had more of a rivalry with Colorado, Toronto, St.Louis in those days. Chicago was, like Detroit, a team that didn't win for a long time, and I became a Kane fan during his runs! Hard to not love the guy, the way he plays, and him going to Detroit late in his career is something special

I know you don't understand because you aren't from this city, but it's a central part of the identity of Chicago to violently hate everything associated with Detroit, above all. And when Kane went to the Wings, he became a part of that hatred. To see thousands of Hawks fans cheering for someone they should be wanting to murder was the most disappointing thing I've ever seen in my life.

Kane to Debrincat for the game tying goal and then Cat to Kane for the game winning goal. Just absolute chills. As an ex-Hawks fan I’m just so happy that the Hawks fans (including superfan Bedard 😂) got to witness another Showtime goal in person and that it seems they had a good night anyway. The energy from the crowd was just unbelievable and you could see how much it meant to Kaner that he’s still well loved in the place that he built his legacy.

The greatest Blackhawk of all time is also my favorite Hawk of all time. It kills me to see him in a Wings jersey but I had to deal with it for Cheli, too. Patrick Kane is really feeling good more than he has in long time,he I REALLY think he’s getting our team motivated and inspiring our redwings team and a lot of energy,cause I think he is having fun too.and it really felt good for him and debrincat to score in there old building in redwings uniforms 😂😂😂.GG’s hawks LGRW
