The latter group have exercised their choice to reject God, which unknowingly to them is follow the prince of the world aka the Devil. Come across several. God’s ultimate judgment on the soul is merely an affirmation of the choices we’ve made. Who would choose to go to hell? Those who have no sorrow for their sins. Those who place themselves beyond mercy through pride or despair.

@@mikelopez8564 ‘Darwinism’ is an antiquated notion of biological evolution. Claiming you accept ‘some of’ evolution makes no sense. Biological evolution either occurs or it doesn’t. There is either a change in allelic frequency in populations over generations or there isn’t. News flash, there is!!

By what method and mechanism does god "hear" the sound? Do they have ears? Where are their ears? How many ears do they have? By what method are you drawing your conlcusions on gods capability of hearing? Sounds like bullshit to me.

@@imwondering3885 It's difficult, nigh impossible, to maintain a state of grace without God's Sacraments. I'm not sure how you deal with that, but having received Baptism (and Holy Communion and Reconciliation?) leaves you in a good position. God bless.

@@imwondering3885 It's not the receiving of the Sacrament that is important... it is remaining in a state of grace that saves us. If you're someone who can easily resist all the temptations of the world, the flesh and the devil and avoid all occasions of mortal sin, then after Baptism, no more Sacraments are really necessary. But I've yet to meet anyone, even the holiest of souls, that doesn't need spiritual help from God to remain in a state of grace and advance in the spiritual life (toward the unitive stage)... that is, to consume the flesh and blood of our Lord in Holy Communion... to be absolved of mortal sins after sincere repentence and confession, as sacred scripture tells us to do. I know that I really do need regular Confession and Communion to stay on track. You know, Saint Ignatius of Antioch, who stated that 'abstaining from the Eucharist due to not believing that it is the true Body and Blood of our Lord is what the heretics (other translations say "Gnostics") do', was a disciple of the Apostle Saint John the Evangelist. He lived at a time when some living Christians could still remember hearing and seeing Jesus Christ in the flesh as He preached here on earth. Honestly, that fact holds a lot of weight in my book. I personally wouldn't be one to think that I know better than the Apostles or their disciples.
