I think the phrase each week about “just need to keep improving each week” …that ship has sailed

They refused to get Mahomes a veteran wr in the offseason. Just wasting a year of his prime

I love that man. He embodies the Midwest spirit. The players around him need to be just one inch better.

I don’t understand why they pull Rice out of the game, every time he catches a ball. How can they possibly get in a rhythm when he is in and out like that? He’s not perfect, but he’s the best they have. Play him.

I shouted from the roof tops they needed a true number 1 WR since pre-draft. I wanted it to be D-HOP for a number of reasons, number 1 being in the last 5+ years he has the fewest drops(highest catch percentage) WOW! I must be clairvoyant. Wasted a year of Mahomes/Kelce but even worse…the best KC defense since Marty ball. But at least we are tops in the league in one category.Mahomes and Kelce lead the league in commercials currently running, and it’s not even close.

Eagles fan here. I respect the Chiefs and I still have love for Andy Reid. Pat is a dawg on the field and it’s always scary with the ball in his hands. GG we will see ya in the SB, again. Good luck.

Waisting a year of Patrick’s prime years is a concern. They should have gotten him a veteran WR at the deadline. They didn’t loose by a lot I just don’t like how they lost especially after the bye week. A plus is that they did run 🏃‍♀️ the ball 🏈 on third and short with Pacheco and it worked.

The receivers are still running routes improperly, and dropping passes. They arent consistent and reliable and making more money than they deserve and I'm no longer making excuses for them. The only way to fix this issue is in March. We love you Patrick, I'm sorry week in and week out your receivers let you and us down. Go chiefs

They could have won easily if the receivers just caught the ball. Patrick gave up money so he could have good players. Way to go, Veach!

The fact that Andy Reid can't adjust for the terrible second half offense week after week is alarming and demonstrates the personnel issue with a lack of receiving talent. Great job again by the defense. It should be shaming the offense for not doing its job. Really this season is the first Veach failure in not securing a class receiver.

Mahomes...You RUN this team. If you don't step in that building this morning and tell them to get these bums off your team then you deserve every failure they give you.

I love this kid. I hate that the nfl requires these stupid press conferences right after the game. The game isnt enough entertainment? We need to drag these poor guys through the locker room and force them to come up with reasons why they lost or won? Its heartless, everyone can wait until the next day.

Mahomes is a dropping dimes, these Wide Receivers just aren’t stepping up. The Defense can only take them so far with the offense stuck in neutral. At this point you ride it out the rest of the year and trust Mahomes to make it work. Brett Veach has to absolutely fix the Wide Receiver problem in the offseason big time.

I'm really glad we showed what our running game can do. Mahomes threw great, except for that pick in the endzone.. Kelce's turnover was also a chance to seal the game - even if we kicked 2 fieldgoals, we'd have won. Things just went perfectly wrong.

The Chiefs shipped off the best preseason WR on the team Smith Marsette, for like a 7th round pick…still scratching my head on that move.

At this point it is concerning that Andy Reid, Matt Nagey and P.Mahomes do not know how to fix the offence. They keep saying oh, the offence will come together and we gotta find a way to win offensively but they have been saying that for 10 weeks now and its still not fixed. We'll make the playoff but if by wk 14 the WRs don't show any improvements, you can forget about the superbowl. What an waste opportunity it would be. ANDY REID should have traded for some reliable WR just one or two would do.

Everyone is talking about the dropped passes, but no one asking the question why is this happening. It's not because these guys aren't capable of catching the ball. The real problem is that the Chiefs have been spreading the ball around to 10+ guys over the past couple of years, which makes Mahomes look great when they are running to the right spots and catching passes. However, there is a reason this isn't the preferred system around the NFL. When you have that many receivers, they are not able to get the reps they need to develop the timing and rythm with Mahomes. Therefore, when the game is on the line, everything looks out of sync, because they haven't gotten the reps they need in practice to or game time situations. They need to decide who's going to be the top 3-4 guys and give them a majority of the reps instead of receiver by commitee. The more you get the ball to those key guys, the more they will have the cofidence to step up when you need them.

Travis obviously loves his big bro. I'm just glad he chose last nights game to play less than inspired football so he can rip his heart out in February.

I sort of figured that the Chiefs would lose this highly competitive game, and it's not a horrible loss to lose to the Eagles by any stretch of the imagination. But the manner and the way of the loss is pretty tough, right?

Three games in a row the Chiefs were shutout in the 2nd half. This is a coaching problem. Nothing is being done to change things. This is really really bad.

Watson is open for a reason. Decent hands no speed. Not a threat for the defense. Ever since they signed MVS, Mahomes and hin have rarely on the same page.

Chiefs need to get Mahomes an experienced receiver

Pat is pretty humble when he stinks it up. But he can't catch the passes, just continue to throw them so they get their hands on them. If the targets let them go right through their hands....I guess every week they can say, "we need to better" as much as they want. They get paid big bucks to perform in clutch situations. Both teams play under the same conditions.

Andy Reid got to cute last night. Instead of throwing to his future HOF TE Travis Kelce, he decided to make the focal point of his offense Freddie Pacheco and Justin Watson. Sometimes these NFL coaches outsmart themselves trying to show that they are smarter then the guy on the other side of the field. Tonight was one of them.

Travis Kelce fumbled the ball he is a veteran. The Eagles was the better team that night.

I guess our leadership doesn't want another super bowl lol wild man I'm honestly still stunned.

Chiefs have a rookie WR with tons of potential. Occasionally Watson over preforms. I'm sorry but MVS is mid at best. I'm so puzzled why they decided to roll with this WR group. Feels like the 90's all over again....minus actually sticking to the run more. Defense is amazing!!

Sky moore is a complete bust. MVS and Toney just aren’t that good. Rice is good but he’s a rookie. Veach over played his hand. He thought sky and tooney would take a step forward. But they both regressed.. Sky moore looks like he shouldn’t even be in the NFL His stats for 2 season now are trash

Watson despite the TD, was (and is) terrible by the way. The is no way a professional WR let the ball pass trough his both hands twice in a game like that. Even Kelce is not responding well, but he has credits. I’m really sorry for Mahomes and for us fans. But I still believe! Lets go Chiefs!

Andy is allergic to sticking with a gameplan. Pacheco was dominating Philly and his bright idea is to stop giving him the ball.

Same excuse week in week out. Who ever is calling plays in the 2nd half needs to not be. How can we dominate the first half and then 2nd half we come out looking like a team that has never played together? This is the 3rd game in a row now we haven't scored in the 2nd half. 3rd and short lets throw the ball because God forbid we give it to our all star running back that is averaging 6.6 yards a carry. Then on 3rd and long lets throw a 2 yard screen pass or have Mahomes throw a bomb down the field and overthrow the receiver. Good thing our defense is amazing because without them we wouldn't be 7-3 right now.

Said they shoulda kicked the FG to my friends on that 4th down, they converted it, felt stupid for about 2 seconds…. but then Kelce fumbled. You kick, then you only need 1 more kick at the end of the game. This going for it on 4th down thing is foolish

Mahomes needs to make better decisions on 3rd and short, he throws deep too many times. In the rainy conditions, why not run more, the out side runs were there to night, even with CEH which was shocking. typical crappy Reid game plan.

Play calling goes conservative in 2nd half with lead. Eagles knew when the runs were coming and easily stopped them. Forced 3rd and long.

You have to come up with the better plays against the defense! and plays at the defense are not ready for you to play!- you need the new technology in your football helmet -Mahomes -so you're in constant contact with the coach and the tower- then you need to do what made you famous in the first place! On another night MVS or Watson catch the ball & Chiefs walk off with the win. Some nights the better team doesn't win. Chiefs were ballin it for most of that game. Folks want to dis the Chiefs receivers, but nobody criticises the lousy refs almost never calling pass interference on them a bunch o' times this season. Y'all want to criticise Mahomes with his same answers, but he doesnt ever make excuses or point fingers. He'll find a way to win in the play offs. Long way to go yet. Last night was a very close finish.

At this point, we might be better off playing with two tight ends since those WRs aren’t doing sh** after the first half. 3 straight games where Chiefs are shut out in the 2nd half. One of which was against the broncos. Just get Kelce to receiving full time, get another TE to do the run blocking
