You realize that HUGE line on the screen is put up by CBS so morons can tell where the play starts, right? It's not really a line on the field. The actual line is +/- 5-10 inches every time. The refs put the ball down in the approximate area where the previous play ended. To penalize a team at this point in the game over the line is ridiculous.

Only opposing teams dislike us but not for this it’s because many others seasons have ended at their hands it’s only natural response. True fans understand but also don’t agree. Rules are rules as long as refs are consistent across the league and games it’s all good.

A defensive lineman offsides is a much bigger issue than a WR offsides. If anything, that helps the Dbacks jam them at the line, which they did, and then did again about 9 yards down the field...

Same way Mahomes can drop back and throw a bomb if Von Miller jumps offsides (benefitting the offense) if Kelce had messed up the lateral or Mahomes threw a INT when Toney was offside, defense would have kept it and flag would have been declined. As a Bengals fan, I was devastated when that call happened last year-- but rules are rules. That's how this works. It also bugs me when people complain about "consistency." Having real officials on the field has always been part of the game. They are aren't going to catch everything, but they do a pretty dang good job at it. You know how much you can't see when you are on the field compared to sitting on your couch with a big screen? It's the classic "I could do better" when people think refs are inconsistent. We HAVE the technology to not have officials making calls on the field, but players would be getting flags left and right, because players are also human. They make easy mistakes, like being offsides in this instance.
