Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs came back from being down ten points at halftime to win Super Bowl 57 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. They are only the second team to win the Super Bowl after being down double digits at halftime. Mahomes led a scoring drive on every possession for the Chiefs in the second half. This performance by Mahomes was a Tom Brady memorial game. He made no mistakes, didn’t force anything, and did everything asked of him to win the game. He didn’t need to throw for 500 yards because he didn’t need to. He took what the defense gave him and played a fantastic game hence why his QBR was a 96. He played a dare I say almost a perfect game

Mahomes learned not to play hero ball, he did what was required and knows it's about the team and not 1 player. In short, he changed it up adapting, and realized the formula for success is a great team working together rather than a collection of glory hogs trying to make it about themselves. The passing yards is not on him playing bad. Pacheco was running the ball well and even scored. And the defense scored off a fumble that gave Eagles more time of possession. That's why Patrick stats look miniscule.

Bills Fan. We choked against the Bengals, however I didn't believe in the Bengals after losing to the RAMS. We beat KC this season and it was CLOSE. The Eagles had the easiest schedule in the NFL.. I didn't think nor will I think Jalen Hurts is better than Patrick Mahomes.. As a Bills Fan I only SEE the Chiefs as competition.. eerie that the first Bills v Bengals game got canceled especially for what it got canceled by. Chiefs were banged up because BILLS did that. @stéphane A Brady isn't more accurate...Mahommes can get recievers the ball on the run and from multiple angles.. Brady might be a bit more tougher mentally which is where Rodgers fails at and Mahommes beats Rodgers... Rodgers is actually a better QB than Brady and maybe Mahommes but his desire to win isn't as great...

The Eagles played keepaway for most of the game controlling time of possession. It's not like Mahomes had a lot of time or possessions to throw for a bunch of yards. And Mahomes wasn't going to throw for a lot on the last drive since the Chiefs were in control and content to burn as much clock as possible until they could get a score to take the lead.

They controlled time of possession largely because mahomes played bad in the first half. He had two drives in the second quarter that combined for 8 total yards. You aren’t going to have much T.O.P. if you can’t get a first down.

@@valjohnson7112 Eagles were aggressive on 4th down Andy Reid played more conservative. Also, Jody Fortson think it was? Slipped on a 3rd down like a 3rd&3? That stalled the drive. Didn't matter though cause the Eagles got outsmarted and Mahomes played a masterful second half.
