@harrymills2770
@harrymills2770 Год назад
@@brentruss6364 I didn't see it that way. It looked to me like Herbert either misread the leverage or his rib/abdomen injury caused an errant throw. Watson said something about how they were planning a switch, depending on who went where after the snap. It would've been tough, either way, but Watson had the inside leverage and Herbert threw it to the inside and behind, instead of out in front. Just looked like the QB read it wrong, to me. With that rib injury, it could also just be a misfire. Hard to put any body torque into your throws with that injury, I would think. But these are big, strong guys, who can flick the ball 30 yards, falling sideways.
@brentruss6364
@brentruss6364 Год назад
@@harrymills2770 yeah im not throwing shade just disagree. The switch was the big play by the D and very well executed, from my understanding the TE is meant to plant that R foot and cut towards the goalpost where as he was gassed and carried the route to the pylon hence the throw is inside and behind where he is meant to almost have his back to the endzone and use his body to shield it in. Either way, its currently 3-2 to the chiefs in the last 5 games so these games are gunna be a staple for the next 12-15 years

Mahomes had a lot of picks in college, but he also had an insane number of touchdowns. His TD:INT ratio was actually very high. When the purpose is to win games, those ints can be deceptive. There were some years with Phil Simms and Bill Parcells, where Parcells told Simms "If you don't throw 2 picks this game, you're not trying hard enough." There are times when the only way you're going to score and win is to take some chances on offense.

KC defense earned that win. After the first two Charger TD drives, they shut them down for almost 3 quarters. The Chargers got one more TD late, but the Chiefs’ defense exchanged that TD drive for Herbert’s broken rib. And people forget, that TD almost didn’t happen after Herbert threw into triple-coverage over the middle. People talk about how lucky Mahomes was not to get picked, but Herbert was just as lucky that surefire pick was dropped by the Chiefs, right after the injury/sack.
@leonardobraynen1524

I felt Chargers coach was to blame for loss. He could gone on 4th twice esp when it was 4th & 2. He makes that different ball game. It would be 17-0 easy in the 1st half. Also the coach shoulda called timeout with is receiver needing to come out the gm. Cuz he wss winded, he allowed corner to jump route and pick 6 99yds. Clearly the Chargers were the superior team and they without Keenan Allen. I like Herbert. Super poised under pressure and can make all the throws. They beat 1 of the worst teams??!?! And they got outplayed for 3 quarters. Just weird how you only hear 1 side ..and it's not even the full story. There is 0 debate, not a catch. Never has been, never will be. You charger fans are delusional, the ball cant be in control if its moving between hands the first thing that touches the ground is the front of the ball 😂 pathetic you all had half the penalties, were allowed to wwe tackle, and still complain about needing more ref interference to win.

I was watching the dude perfect alt stream of the game (mainly because I enjoy Mitch Holtus on the radio way more than the broadcasters - other than Kevin Harlen) and durrng the time the pick happened, dude perfect had Demarcus Ware on as a special guest. Ware immediately knew it wasn't a catch and pointed out that it hit the ground before possession was obtained. "Can't catch of the ground"

The ball was never secured before touching the ground. In slow motion the ball can be seen sliding from his fingers into the ground. Control must be established prior to touching the turf. People keep rambling about "the ball didn't move after it hit the ground". Doesn't matter. The ground can't contribute to a player establishing control. It's call trapping. Easy call.

these guys are bozos!!!! Stop making excuses!!!! An Interception is an Interception regardless the reason why the interception occurred!!!! Herbert made a bad and arrogant decision to throw the for TD than run the ball for a TD using Austin Eckeler!!! And no one tackles the defender...and this Watson guy runs the ball into the end zone!!!! the Analyst precious Chargers loss to a better coached team!!!! Bottom line.

It's because Mahomes throws the ball so hard that makes it difficult for the other team to pick him. Look at all the balls that have come off of his own receivers hands that actually ended up in picks...a lot of those from Tyreek last year btw

This is how you know Colin doesn’t watch the games… Mahomes threw 4+ passes they were in the defenders hands he just got lucky and they didn’t come down with any of them. I said it the year they lost to the Buccaneers, Mahomes is the luckiest quarterback who throws the most turnover worthy throws I’ve ever seen… When he goes up against defense in the playoffs they are going to catch those balls. It’s happened two years in a row that I’ve been right
