One of her best performances ever. This was taken from her stop of The Who's That Girl World Tour in Turin Italy. In 1986 she became the first woman to solo executive produce a major label pop album. Everyone thought she'd fail but on it's release True Blue became the first album from a solo female artist to sell more than 20 million copies, before Madonna women rarely sold more than million copies, Her First Album first woman to sell more than 10 million, Like A Virgin first woman to sell more than 15 million. And this was her second tour and first world tour and she wanted to do stadiums. Only bands like U2 or Queen or Van Halen or Elton John and Michael Jackson did stadiums. No one thought a woman could sell out a stadium. She sold out the entire tour and became the first Act to sell out the legendary Wembley Stadium for multiple nights on the same tour. Until Taylor Swift she was the only woman to sell out stadiums. Her paternal grandparents emigranted out of a town 50 miles from Turin. Her grandparents were the only two to leave and they arrived in the US illiterate and unable to speak English. Over 50 years later their granddaughter returned the biggest female star in the world. Her entire Italian family including great aunts and uncles met her before the show and are in the audience. When she moved to NYC in 1978 she hung out with the gays, club kids and art scene and became friends with Andy Warhol. He designed the jackets she and the rest of the crew are wearing. and this kind of song is what's played in gay clubs

It was a smart move to incorporate the local culture and language into the intro of this number. As in, encouraging the crowd to chant something they are familiar with. Someone mentioned that "she's recreating the You Can Dance remix". This is correct. The intro and the bridge are extended in the same manner. There is one minor detail that is interesting to note. The snares. Now, I could be wrong here. During the main part of the song, the drummer incorporated the regularly timed drum roll or extra hit. During the bridge (the extended piano), the drummer played the basic 1, 2. Only when the song resumed after the bridge did the drummer return to the songs normal rhythm.
