its so sad we all die but 2 c my man patrick look like a sick 80yr old so fast after seeing him look so strong and acting in a new show the same yr he died is heart breaking rip surfs up
I am very sad that Patrick lost his battle to cancer. Cancer is a horrible disease and my heart goes out to him his family his fans and most of all his wife. R.I.P Patrick
I will never forget Patrick. It was a terrible lost. He was such a strong and brave man. He fought against cancer and never lost his dignity. May he rest in peace and God bless him.
He was my all time favorite male actor. He was so diverse and elegant. Based on the opinion of others, amazing human being. I know God will bring peace to his family in this moment of need. We have to be proud of him and his work. Its going to take time, before someone can "wear his shoes" RIP

Poor Patrick and poor Lisa. This world would such a happier place without fucking cancer ruining everyone's life and taking such wonderful people from us in this case the awesome Patrick Swayze, God bless you Patrick and Lisa.
This man is a inspiration...He fought it hard as he can, and Lisa was right there...What a romantic, ideal couple....I miss this man, and he will forever be in my heart!
You know these celebrities have the world by the tail and such talent they have. Most throw away marriages like nothing but, patrick didn't. I wish I had some of the talent that these people have and they piss it away like it's nothing and die of drugs and alchol. He didn't do that and was married to same woman for 33 years. I totally respect him.
@xxviciousbeautyxx what did i say? 56 is NOT a young man. he had a full life. he also smoked like a chimney, which is toying with faith. i miss him. i think he was a great guy, but still... if you really want to live til you're old, you have to take care of yourself so this kind of thing doesn't happen.
@xxviciousbeautyxx I was actually kinda just kidding. My mother is 65. Yes, I consider that old, but ancient is maybe around... ninety or so. Also, perhaps he could have gotten it another way but there is a very strong chance smoking played a huge role in the cancer. I think he could have lived longer had he not smoked... that's my feeling... but who really knows, right?
you dont know that he slept with other woman, and being a celebirtey and being married 32 years to the same woman is like turning water into wine, a true miracle!

@stephenpaultaylor I didn't say 56 was a "young" man but it is a young age to die. Saying 56 is ancient is pretty ridiculous, that means my parents are going to become ancient here soon and if they pass away then I'll just say oh well they weren't young anymore, they were very old. Even if you do take care of yourself, that doesn't really mean anything. He still could have got pancreatic cancer if he wasn't smoking and anyone can get a sickness and die even being super healthy.
Talent? Very few have talent. Most knew somebody who was a friend of a friend, etc to get on TV, once you get there, your resume builds, everything goes from there. It's not about talent. Don't kid yourself. There are 1000's of talented real actors out there making no money.
@lesrambles1 sometimes its sad we have freedom of speech! most think he was not only gifted in his field. but in others as well. professional dancer. showed horses. met his wife when she was 16, he 20. married 30 something years. to say anything wrong about a warm human being. well, its just beyond me.
@meshell86 Yeah he was a great role model for kids. Swayze refused to quit smoking. He was a chain smoker. "Professional" sportsmen (dancer) shouldn't smoke, lady.

What's wrong with you? Have you ever accomplished anything remotely close to what this man accomplished in his life? Stop JUDGING already! He was a human being who got angry,etc so what? Don't take away from what he accomplished out of jealousy. He planted trees, he co-wrote "She's Like the Wind" inspired by his wife & sang it. It was a Top 10 Hit & has been covered by many other artists, he was a awesome dancer, gymnast, & actor whose movies will live forever. What have you done lately?
