Yes! It finally happened! So overdue! Congratulations to Patrick “P52” Willis! One of my favorite 49ers ever and one of the greatest football players ever! Special person who overcame so much to build himself into a player for the ages. This man came into the league in 2007 and - with all due respect to Ray Lewis - immediately became the best linebacker in the game and remained that way for the first 6 years of his career. Patrick Willis, Hall of Famer: couldn’t happen to better football player or a more humble person.

Can't express how happy I am for this man. What an absolute beast, watching him play all those years for my Niners was a goddamn blessing, and I have said since the day he retired: You can give any Linebackers their due, but nobody ever played LB like P Willie.

This is truly a great and special day! Welcome to the Hall of Fame, brother! I miss seeing you on the field, but I am so grateful for all the memories!
