Most complete and versatile back of this generation, already one of the greats of all time. A future HOFer, another couple seasons like this and he's a first ballot lock HOFer. He takes the 49ers from a playoff team to a championship contender by himself. Such a special weapon to have, and a quiet leader and tireless worker as well.

The way he recognises and uses his blockers is incredible. You can see that same early recognition when he leaps over low tackles and sees the smallest of holes to exploit. Has the physical gifts he needs and the I.Q.

If the Niners had CMC in the 2019 Superbowl, they would have won it. They would have beaten the Rams in 2021 NFC CC and probably have gone on to win the 2021 Superbowl. However, Niners passed on CMC in the 2017 NFL Draft and probably missed out on two Superbowl wins because of it. I had wanted the Niners to draft CMC instead of Solomon Thomas but they didn't listen to me.

Honestly, he's great because of his elusiveness, among other things. But if your defense can defeat their blockers and get hands on him, he doesn't break very many tackles.
