I really like how the feet were handled in the transformation. Take note, Hasbro. Do that for all car bots going forward.

It's nice to see a new toy for my hotshot. Since i was five when cybertron came out and i remember playing with the original hotshot figure alot as a kid. So seeing a new figure of him really makes me happy. And i'll hopefully get the new one whenever i get a chance.

This wave came out early in Australia after the last wave didnt even show! I never bothered with Cybertron, but I liked the look of him! This easy chunky transformation is easy and reminiscent of older toys, cool car mode, and nice colors

I’ll bet ToyHax will have a sticker that would cover the translucent plastic windshield in order to cover the head.

The fins made him go hyperspeed. I think that's all it did, just faster speed in car mode, making it handy for velocitron which is where he got it.

Owning the original, it's about the same amount of kibble on the arms/back so for the most part toy accurate. While the shoulders aren't as clean on the original, and rims aren't nicely painted this update still improves a lot. Really like the additional articulation, and how the lower arms are a bit more proportionate to the shoulders/upper arms. Neat little gimmick for this one anyway is the arm kibble can be completely removed for a cleaner stance. Most impressed by the proper scaling unlike the Armada Hotshot who is much too short in comparison,

he is a good Transformer and pretty faithful to the original toy and the animation model. i see a red repaint in its future. also makes you wonder if we are going to get a Cybertron Defense Force Hot Shot at some point. he also looks good in alt mode esp racing next to Speedia 500 Over Ride aka Nitro Convoy. his forearms are also just on 5mm ports so you can just take them right off if you want. will be interesting to see what kind of kit DNA comes out with for him and ToyHax too. great review!! till next time.

I so hope hasbro does remakes of some of the SG figures, cause an accurate Goldbug from this would make me so giddy.

I’m pretty sure you can remove the door flaps and widows. Check it out.

I think he would go well with a BLUE rifle from Toyhax like Mirage's rifle or Bluestreak's rifle or Scourge's rifle.

Thanks for the video, Prime. Love the toy, but I always wanted more Hotrod in the cartoons… and more Pipes and Warpath but that’s getting off topic.

I might be in the minority here but I kinda like it when the robot head looks out the window. RID X-Brawn did that, I thought it was cool.

The windows on the arms are on 5mm pegs so they can be removed.

I'm conflicted by this figure. I was looking forward to it but now I don't know how I feel about it. The back and arm flaps were there in the original figure, I hoped they would have cleaned those up. Not sure if they were left for "nostalgia" or just plain Hasbro laziness. It hits all the notes the original one did, with better articulation, but the limbs have waffling and the gimmicks are missing. Disappointed to say it doesn't feel like they improved over the original which is the same reason I skipped Starscream. Great review brother, I think you just saved me $25.

I was disappointed with Legacy Cybertron Starscream, so I’ll be skipping this as well as Vector Prime. Rare examples of the originals being better than the remakes.
