Well, the Memorial Day bar has been set! I’m heading out in the morning and if I have half the success you had, I’ll be happy! I’m thinking that the X-15 fell over on purpose and was going to try and crawl away because he knew what would happen! Your witty sarcastic comments are hilarious and I can totally sympathize with those remarks. 😂😂😂. Great video my friend and congrats again on such successful flights. Wish me luck on flying for tomorrow (Capt. Clucky will be attempting a new trick)!
Sweet! I am looking forward to seeing my good buddy Capt. Clucky! Thanks, Kevin... I hope you have a great day of flying tomorrow. What does Tim Van M say about flying? "May the winds be light, the sky any color you want as long as the winds are light, and may the winds be light!"
Indeed, the restriction is written into the city's park rules. And park rangers have visited me twice while launching to make sure I was complying. A local rocketry club (Superstition Spacemodeling Society) made arrangements with local cities to determine which parks dudes like me could fly. Some parks in this city allow up to D motors. The largest city near by (Mesa, AZ) does not allow any rocket flying in any city park! And this is a place that sells fireworks for New Year's Eve and July 4th. Weird.
Just a rule from the City of Gilbert. I’ve had park rangers check on me while launching to make sure I was only flying A and B motors. They were cool about it so I comply. If they were not nice I’d launch my Doorknob on an F motor there. 😬😝😂😎
Yeah that old Patriot needs a C11-5 or switched to a D adapter. I''ve actually got the upscaled decals to make that a 2.63-inch diameter along with laser cut ply fins, gotta get to it!
