Mac Jones was a bust , his weakness was that you could knock him down with a feather duster. Drake Maye may not be perfect but he's big strong mobile kid with a cannon of an arm . He's worth the gamble.

We have the chance to draft a franchise QB Drake Maye, please don't blow this once in a decade pick. Trading back is not a smart move, picks mean nothing without a great QB. Why do you think teams are willing to give up the house to get Drake Maye?

Pats need quality bodies now, not in 2025, 2026. The only Team that can put a quality 2024 package together with decent numbers is Vikings. But if Vikings sit and wait they could get JJ at #11, or at least higher than #3, so why trade.

Trade back and get a WR/OT and QB. The risk in gambling on a pick at 3 and blowing it will hurt for years. Worst draft pick of all time -> Ken Sims - 1st pick in the 1982 draft and a bust.

Maye will go to the Commanders at 2 and NE will then trade with TN for their 1st, 2nd, and 2025 2nd round picks. NE will select Rome Odunze and then trade back up into the 1st for Penix. They pair the Washington receiver with the Washington QB and no longer need to draft a LT high because Penix is a lefty and they already have Onwenu on his blind side.

Either draft MHJ or trade for a colossal amount w/ a wr1 receiver. A QB with the 3rd pick “would” start off the rebuild but it won’t fix our offense. Let’s get a WR1 and develop some “home grown” talent.

Unless you can get a Jefferson type player in return, any trade out is a horrible, horrible, horrible horrible, horrible idea. You can't compare historical and past draft outcomes to make a decision. Minnesota is the worst deal currently without the player inclusion. You are flipping 1st round picks. So getting 1 1st round this year and a potential mid to high 20's next year is garbage. I am so tired of the quality over quality mentality that exist. Who is going to sell more tickets, generate more persuasion from high caliber potential players, and have a greater impact on games... a new high pick tackle or a stud QB or WR? Get rid of the "just get by thinking." Fans are sick of it. Look at the past Patriots... the glory days. It was Tom Brady that was the difference maker.
