I’m surprised that Cam was released so early. Cam looked good this preseason. I hope to see Cam find a home to where he can excel in this league again. He seems like a good dude. He’s a hardworking great teammate as well. He was genuinely happy for Mac when he threw his first touchdown pass. Thank you Cam for what you’ve done. And hope to see you playing again soon. You can pass against them fairly easily. Add in that 6 of those games were against the NFC East, which was the worst division in football last year, they probably would have been even lower.

I didn't expect this to be the first thing I'd hear about the nfl. I can see why they did it, but I don't think it was the best move. I don't think Mac Jones will be able to compete on an elite level this year, but then again, he's basically a future prospect for the Patriots. Fields, Lawrence and Wilson could all be great, but the situations that Mac and Lance landed are perfect. Mac has a top 3 o-line, great coaching, a very talented defense and good receivers (taking into account the TEs). Lance has amazing coaching, great weapons, dynamic running game and a very good defense. Both of these guys could come in and have a great impact right away. I think it's as simple as this. The Patriots spent millions and millions of dollars to bring in some guys that can actually catch the ball but Cam Newton can't THROW the ball.

This will backfire on the Patriots I’m calling it now. Mac won’t give them the best chance to win this season he is a good player but this was a bad decision cutting Cam Newton.

I don’t think you are right. Cam was trying to place balls ⚽️ Into receivers hands. Mac seemed to have just more confidence. Let the kid get experience now, While he is still developing.
