The CROSS Brand of hotels is well-known in Thailand for managing top quality hotels. But, of course, that comes at a cost! So I was interested to see that they've added some more budget friendly hotels to their collection; such as this one 14 kms outside Pattaya. Does it still offer the same level of quality? Let's find out as I spend a night in the Cross Vibe Pattaya Seaphere, paid for out of my own pocket!

Another awesome hotel review mate ! We love watching them even though it makes us miss Thailand. We are big beach people and the water there looks very swimmable. Cheers BC mate 👍🏼🍻🇦🇺

Thanks, SG. Always nice to bring back happy memories, I think! And for once there was a good selection in the fridge. The beach is only 2 minutes walk away. And as you say, the water looks really clear around the boulders there! Thanks, mate!

Thanks, PFI. Yes, if you want to make it a full 24 hours near Ban Amphur Beach this is an ideal choice! Very relaxing!

Good video BC. The place looks nice. The military beach in Sattahip is a good spot and very clean. No beer though unless you take a carry out. Is there much to do outside of the hotel on an evening?

Thanks, Toby. I found the area directly around the hotel to be pretty quiet after dark. So I went over to Glass House BOHO, which was only a fairly short Bolt taxi away!

looks like you've found another gem. maybe need your own transport. I prefer these hotels to the international chains. having a kitchen guess you can take your own maid.

Thanks, BB. A set of wheels would be nice. Either that or an OAP bus pass. Off again next week. Back to Phuket. I think a maid is OK here but you'll have to supply your own uniform.

Wow, well stocked fridge and table. Never seen a bottle of Chivas Regal in a hotel here. I take it the breakfast was included in the price? Yes, nice place with a beach , just out of town where prices are more reasonable. Another brilliant hotel overview BC. Thank you

Hi Ric. Yes, I took a deal including the breakfast. Prices seem to vary a lot (particularly now with Chinese New Year approaching).There's plenty of snacks and drinks in the room. You could easily go self-catering. Obviously the prices wouldn't be the same as at 7 eleven though! Cheers, mate!

@@balloonchaser Yes, the prices were always higher in the room for alcohol and chips. Always appreciated having them as an amenity, yet most hotels have stopped providing these in the last decade or so

@WalkingmanPattaya That's a good point . Although it's expensive, it is super convenient, and many would pay a premium for that. The thought did cross my mind to crack open a bottle of wine, but fortunately, as I was sober, good sense prevailed!

Not sure about staying over. But certianly looks a nice hotel. But the area around there does look worthy of a visit.😊

Yes, Paul. The area was really nice. Actually, I hadn't planned to stay over, but a couple of glasses of wine at dinner nearby at Glass House BOHO restaurant persuaded me! Cheers, mate!
