Hi welcome back to a Pattaya Budget hotel comparison , Which one would you choose?. Forced hotel switch as the one i'm staying is fully booked due to it being the weekend. The first is the Viking Resort Just off Pattaya South, the location is out of the way but that also has its advantages.
The second is La Riqueza, it's about a 15 minute stroll to walking street. Better Location but is that an advantage or not? which one would you choose.

No prizes for picking which one i personally love the quiet soi and can see local thais living there fantastic the swimming pool great. also iwould be sitting down by the tea and coffee i love lipton tea and can drink it any time of the day it cools you down saves paying at a shop my old man would love that he drinks at least 15 teas a day even in summer the pool is big enough the price was good and the room was pretty spacious worth staying a week 😊

Yes unfortunately there wasn’t much competition, the Viking Resort was lovely and very highly recommended. I also drink about 10/15 cups a day of the Lipton’s yellow label, can’t beat a nice cuppa👌🏻

Looks a great place, out of the way and has a pool; however, this might sound bad, but it looks like the hotel caters mainly for smokers, as every table has ash trays full of dog ends 😔

I didn’t really see that while I was there mate, you did see the odd person smoking outside there room but it wasn’t noticeably prevalent throughout the hotel

The problem in Thailand is that in most hotels . There is zero maintenance.

There is in a lot of the cheaper places, building all the time now and prices are rising.

Big difference in the apartments you we’re clearly happier in the first one. One thing I’ve noticed still a lot of people wearing face masks is it because of Covid ? Look forward to tomorrows vlog 😊

Hey June, I think there’s a lot of brainwashing going on that westerners are bringing diseases over so wear masks to be safe, crazy. Wearing them masks can bring a lot more future complications than the risk we will ever pose xx

A 2ml plastic sheet folded in your bk pk is a must for mattress bed bugs.hehe.short stays.

Second one just off third road,noisy place .closer to the action but still far away from it Vogue hotel at Soi Lengkee,I would Recommend.

😂 Uncalled for insults aside, I did enjoy the video. 15 quid for that viking place is incredible value. Looks really relaxing. The second flea pit looks like the sort of place you burn to death in the inevitable building fire while poking your arms through the bars trying in vain to find the dead bolt. The second place in fairness has the advantage of signalling to your two week teeruk that she can forget about the sick buffalo chat because you're clearly broker than she is. So it'll be good at 'managing expectations". One look at the room and those bars on the window and she'll downgraded her position from 50k baht gold chain to if I don't get found a week later dismembered in the bath tub - I'll call that a win.
