Was down that way last week. Nice spots along the beach. Went to a place called Home Sports bar. Bit hard to find but worth the search. Great Westen and Thai food. Tiger and some ciders on tap.
What a great video and well edited.great to see two pals enjoying themselves .looks a very nice place to live.best regards to patt and yourselfs .tip top stuff.👍🏼
ffs Nick, I thought that Jackeen went back to Dublin to stop annoying everyone, keep him off your channel or your viewing figures will go down🤣🤣, ps hope you're keeping well Pat ☘☘
An American friend of mine has a beautiful large 3 bedroom house for around 10 years, in the Navy House Village area, very near Bang Saray. The houses are extremely well constructed, he paid about 2million baht. A very good investment as they are worth 2 or 3 times that now at least. He only lives in it for about a month every year. As he has a job that he likes and a son with his Thai wife who prefers to live in the U.S. until his son has finished school. No regrets with his situation. It’s a lovely area, very quiet and surrounded by green hills, but only 10 mins drive to markets and shops! Dean wait till you get to 71 my age, all you want to do is sleep after 10pm 😊. Happy I can still do 3K runs at 6.30am
I went to Bang Saray for the first time in 10 years in February. I think they have ruined the beach front by putting a wall in. I went for an afternoon for some food it’s nice change of scenery.
Great catch up with Pat, funny bloke! Quick qu Nick (or anyone else) - is there any construction going on in the corner of the pattaya klang/second rd junction? Looking to stay at august suites in September but won’t if those buildings are going up. Cheers all
@@PatThaiBangSaray thats a shame....was always a good place and the food and the people who ran it, expat couple, I think were lovely......times have definitely changed in Bansaray since my time there
Met Pat a few times when I was there for 3 weeks till last week. Very nice bloke. Just missed his birthday! Bang Saray looks like a good place to retire to.
Great video Nick. We met a few years ago and I was enjoying a meal in the same restaurant as you on Thursday evening - didn't want to say hello and interrupt your gathering! I moved to Bang Saray 3 weeks ago and it seems like a great place to live. Still close enough to enjoy all that Pattaya has to offer ;)
Good to see Pat. Glad he is doing well. We all watched him hit it hard in Pattaya years ago. I also love Bang Saray. A great place of solitude away from the regular hustle.
Perhaps. Karl's channel is brilliant but he is only going about 3 years. It would be interesting to see the stats if the more established channels did a none bar, restaurant, hotel review video. @@soilentgreen7
thanks Nick it's great to see the ol' muker pattaya Pat i've just went over hit the subscribe button love the old bastard is he still with the same bride?
Hi Nick. Seems idyllic. But why would Pat want to go back home to Ireland where the population of 3 and a half million has now 1 and a half million newcomers, and a woke and climate change agenda! 🇬🇧 12:55
Not entirely correct. The Republic has 5.5m people and last year 247,000 immigrants entered the country. About 100,000 of them Ukrainian. The rest from Africa, Middle East and Afghanistan. A country this size can't possibly deal with these numbers. Dublin is still friendlier than London and the Guinness is the best anywhere. Houses prices are crazy due to the shortage of stock. Thats why I'm now looking at Spain myself. numbers.
@@itcfan Agreed! But now there is a new organisation or political party which is gathering support because Irish politicians just like the UK and Europe have foisted multiculturalism on us and rubbed our noses in it! They are all cultural marxists and have a globalist agenda! Their goal is to strip away your cultural identity and dictate a one nation state globally with no nation states deciding there own rules and laws, and they make no bones about it, they want a new world order! Ant sign of rebellion will be quashed, if not, look out for World War 3 as a distraction!
Id instantly like Pat on meeting him .But any bloke that likes a drink would have to have Discipline to cut down .I love a beer but if i lived over there i'd do the same living away from the party night life .I'd even go out running for the first time in 40 years ffs🤦♂To easy and ive met a few Ferang locals whilst on holiday is to drink from Mid afternoon to late .All they do though Nick ,Is Bloody moan 🤦♂🤣
