Waddup Angels???? So Pattern Beauty dropped a bunch of new products and I managed to grab both stylers when Ulta accidentally leaked the products! You guys know Phase 2 was announced during the first launch and those of us who enjoy Pattern have been waiting. So today I’m doing a side by side comparison of Tracee’s new stylers. I hope you guys enjoy!

The pattern leave in is my holy grail. I don't even use any other leave ins anymore. I have been natural all my life and tried pretty much everything on the market and it's the only leave in I have ever used that makes my hair soft, moisturized and defined while feeling like I didn't actually put any product in it.

Pro tip for anyone who wants to try their conditioners: they make different conditioners for different porosities. Heavy condish is for hi po, intensive is for low po, and medium is for medium to lo po

Thanks for the quick review. I’m surprised I thought the strong hold side would look better but I agree the other gel gives you great shine and a curl. I hope it plays well with other leave ins. I bought the sampler styling pack and the argan oil and velvet ponytail holders. I hope I love all of it.

I’m glad you got both. I saw the products put one in my cart but then saw there was more than one and I didn’t know which one to choose and 1 product with shipping cost more than I wanted to spend so I decided to wait until they reach the store where I can pick it up. I only liked the leave in from the other launch so I just wanted a gel. I have so many products I don’t need this right now and I hope they don’t smell like the other products because I didn’t like the smell. Looks good. Thanks for the review.

I loved your video! The demonstration and feedback were great! I've seen so many videos complaining about the price. If you can't afford it or it's outside your budget then just don't buy it like anything else in life. This isn't a drug store brand/quality product. I'm going to support Tracee and hope that these products work for my fine type 4a hair. Ulta has a good return policy, I tried something from Pureology which didn't work at all and it went right on back lol!

Yessss!! I have been for stylers from Pattern and now 2!!! Holy moly, I'm excited!! I will definitely be grabbing the trial sizes to see which I will fall for... Thank you for addressing the people who complain that Pattern is anything more than $5, as if those people are her target market 🙄 It’s those people and the ones who act like she made products for only women with loose hair that are annoying. You hair looks beautiful and I can’t wait for mine to come in the mail. I was today years old when I realized the regular curl gel was a cream 🤯

At this point I’m convinced some people just want folks to be bitter along with them. The same people I see complaining about Pattern also complain about everything else, BUT I know my mains got me! And thank you. Tracee definitely gave us products that I don’t think we saw coming with this release, especially that creamy curl gel. You’ll have to let me know how your results fare with these. The shampoo has been a blessing. Usually conditioners are what I focus on because most shampoos are crap on our hair types. When I ordered that though they only had the mini bottles. I'm so curious with the stylers. Right now my only thing is Palmer's coconut hair pudding. I miss having a gel. I didn't try the leave in, it was completely sold out and I'm only doing full orders as possible.

Ok so first... what is this lippie?? 💄 I need it. I love your detail in this video. We have completely different hair but I loved this video. I deff want both (cause I’m a product junkie) but I think I will appreciate the cream gel the most. I just bought the leave in during the 30 days of beauty and I love it. The smell I can’t take though. It smells like a little old lady fragrance 🤣🤣 But I did love my results.

I will definitely be trying one of those gels. I'm leaning more toward the Curl Gel because I love a softer hold. Pattern also ships to Spain so I'm super excited. I have a full bottle of the Leave-in (I love this) and the Heavy conditioner from my last trip to NY I wish the gel had launched a little earlier.

Great review ! I enjoy pattern, the conditioners are awesome if you know how to use them! It says soaking wet hair and that stuff just glides on. You can’t try to put that heavy on some damp hair and want to try and come through it lol!

No I only put them in for stretch while I was doing my makeup. I usually put my hair in a high bun to stretch but that would’ve pulled up the front sections I laid down. So with banding I got stretch without disturbing anything.

Idt they were up long enough for them to sell out. But, I have a sneaking suspicion they may have decided to hold off launch because many locations are still closed. Hopefully they’ll put them back online soon at least. I want to get some of the other products but I want my points lol 🤣

Your hair looks great! I tried the curl gel today and love the results but I was looking at the ingredients and noticed there's sodium sulfite which when I looked up sounds like something that affects bonds and alters hair texture (like a relaxer.) Do you know anything about this ingredient? I haven't really heard anyone talk about it and I know you are pretty knowledgeable about ingredients. Love your channel! ❤

Thank you! And good catch, sodium sulfite is often used as a preservative in cosmetic products. With more and more people shying away from parabens I’ve seen the ingredient a lot more in the last few years. Sodium sulfite can be used in products that alter hair texture but that chemical reaction takes place when other chemicals are present. So it’s really that chemical reaction not necessarily the chemical on it own. I hope that helps 💜💜💜

Would you compare any one of the gels to CRN curl maker? That's the only gel I use bc of the softness, hold and definition.
