Wow! I have finished drafting and sewing my bodice block and your instructions....clear, precise,on point ..( I can go on & on lol) currently doing my alterations. THANK YOU❤.
Marvelous series. I was taught to pattern draft at college but there's always something new to learn, especially the personal fitting instructions everything is explained so clearly.
Hello. Thank for sharing this particular video. It really explains how to check for all your fitting issues one at a time. This video has cleared up a lot for me . Thank You so much.
Great series but can you tell me if videos are only coming out once a week. If so that means I have to wait 11 weeks (12th Dec) for video 34 and 15 weeks ( 9th Jan 2024) for video 38. I want to get on on sew tops. Thanks for your help.
Loving going through this series, but I have a question. I understand why you drew the dart with curved lines, but what happens when you want to move your dart for a different design of top? If the dart had straight lines you could just close it and put the fullness elsewhere in another, or a new dart. Do you close the bulk of the dart as you would if the lines were straight, but leave a little mini double pointed dart for just the remaining curved portion for better fit? On your example it would probably be fairly negligible, but for a more curvy person (me) it could be more.
Hi there! We would advise watching this video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-axn7wUIfgoI.html This will breakdown how to take your measurements and draft the bodice block to your shape so you won't have to worry about it being too small or tight
Will you make tutorials on drafting things from the block? There is a milion videos on making the block but only videos on drafting things for them has closethistorian.
