Fun fact: In regards to the Number one slot I think for just Playstation servers, they actually achieved the world peace ending legitimately. So somewhere they did actually do that.

I know one cool ending from golden sun from GBA. Near the start of the story, an elder asks if you will fight and do hero stuff to save the world. If you say no, then credits roll and the game says that the world fell into darkness.

Honestly, I can see that "bad" ending for Persona 5 Royal working into the narrative of its third semester... I can also see why they cut it though

the "escape pod" ending is a really bad pun because when you use the pod the game hits the escape key (fictionally) also the bucket escape pod ending has the full animation played out now.

The Disgaea 2 segment left a bit of context that makes the ending hit even harder. It spoils the game's biggest twist, so read at your own risk: At the beginning of the game, you hear narration about Zenon, the God of All Overlords, a being that was able to beat thousands of Demon Overlords. It doesn't sound too out of place in the world of Disgaea, given a dragon can accidentally destroy a planet because he had poor eyesight and he's not treated as the most powerful Overlord. But the big twist of Disgaea 2 is that Overlord Zenon wasn't the demon who had cursed all the humans in Veldime into becoming demons with no memories of their past: it was Rozalin, the game's female lead. And that's the point where the game recontextualizes the hype around Zenon. While Zenon used to value strength as much as other Overlords, as she slowly started to become famed for her strength, every demon started trying to kill her for bragging rights, including her friends and family. This gave her a terrible case of paranoia, culminating in her reincarnating into a new body to hide her true power. The reason she reincarnates in Adell's body in the bad ending and their actions afterwards is likely because being killed by their lover further reinforced their inability to trust anyone.

I didn't expect to see Adell killing his siblings today, but here I am. Also, the pinguins with swords are named Prinnies.

Wandersong is such a lovely game.

So, apparently it is actually impossible to deactivate all the nukes at this point in Metal Gear Solid V due to how the game's matchmaking treats inactive players. So even if people invaded bases for years trying to get the nuke count to 0, it'd never happen because there will always be nukes that you just can't connect to anymore.

Square Enix famously deleted all of the code and art for Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9. So the rereleases could have used high resolution backgrounds but nope the files are gone.
