Hopefully they do get it running better because some parts of SV were pretty shockingly bad technically. The pop in at the school had no reason to be that bad.

28:55 I'M HONESTLY SHOCKED- I've encountered Nova before!! I spent an embarrassingly long amount of time just hatching eggs, bicycling down that straight path from the daycare, which just so happens to have the bridge to the Battle Chateau, where I spent an even more egregious amount of time to level up pokémon and grind for money :) I think the exp share might've made the battle Chateau feel useless to a lot of players cause you could grind from grass patches just as easily with more control? but I just liked the stupid Chateau ranking system-

well, by being released "worldwide" simultaneously and allowing online battles, thus allowing the most players to meet ever up until that point, I guess

My journey with Pokémon is different than most. I actually started with Gen 3 because my mom was a teacher and there was just an abandoned Sapphire cartridge sitting in her new desk. She brought it home to me for my DS and I played that game over and over again for years. My parents then bought me a copy of Platinum, Black, and Black 2 when they came out. I loved them, but nothing quite *gripped me* the way Sapphire did X and Y were the first new Pokémon release that I actually remember, and it’s hard to overstate just how much I loved it. Its updated graphics were like the childlike vision I had of Sapphire in my mind. The magic I experienced was extremely monumental for me for my early teenage years. Pokémon Y is the reason why I got into competitive battling and what made me fully dive deep into the franchise Safe to say that Pokémon Y is my favorite Pokémon game of all time (with Alpha Sapphire being a close second). It was so magical to experience for the first time and it was truly the first generation where the online community fully started forming and gave rise to a lot of let’s players. I’m just happy whenever someone shares the same love for Generation 6 that I do
