she gave him a shout out. He's got millions of hits. on RU-vid you get a nice check when you reach a certain amount of hits. He's got a little something. And also, the pies sell for $3 and change. Wal-Mart is getting the majority of that profit. Patti prob is getting more press than money from it. Which is more valuable for her since this will open doors for other Patti products.

I have never seen so many moral warriors in my life. Geesh. James came up already. But he played a small part in the process. Did he come up with the recipe? Did he pay for manufacturing, boxing , and shopping logistics for he pies? Did he secure distribution deals with grocers and Walmart? There is more... But the point is he played a smaller part in the entire process. And no person who has built a brand is going to give ALL the credit to one person. She gave him props over and over and over. Look at his page. James been hanging out with Jamie Fox, Tank and so on since this video. If she publicly admits to him being the sole reason for her selling the pies. She could be sued for being "improved by the circumstances " she can't allow that to happen. She has put in too much work on the back in for common people running up to her all day saying "so how does it feel to be successful because of James Ms. Patti?" I love me some Patti and her hair and face are beat yessss! BUT where were these pies selling out at? I'm sorry but Walmart marketing or Patti's marketing team were not doing their job. I had never heard of her pies nor had any of my clients. Not 1 person I know of knew she had pies at Walmart. That video has sold the pies out of the warehouses here in my part of California. I'm in northern california and I called walmarts in 4 different cities and got the same story. One of the customer service reps said no one was buying the pies until the video posted. Grant it the pies might be good but they didn't sell out until that video. And I wish she would stop throwing shade about sells. Her marketing team dropped the ball. This doesn't make her any less fabulous or take away from who she is as an entertainer or a cook. I know her PR team need to sit her down and school her on what she is saying to the press, because it's coming off as ungrateful, arrogant and nasty. This video introduced Patti to a while new generation. My teenage nieces are singing Patti songs! Social Media is powerful and James video proved just that.

Girl please! Your pies weren't flying off the shelves before that guy made that video lol after i saw that video, i went to every Wal-Mart in 4 citys in my state to find it and it was SOLD OUT!! I finally got her pie yesterday and IT WAS GOOD!!!!

I went to the walmart neat my home and they still don't have any. The bakery said the demand is too much for the manufacturer they can't keep up with it. And when they do ship them out they are only going to the biggest and most busiest walmart in the area. I'm in Sacramento CA and we have several walmart and the newest is near my home and they told me their store won't be getting any. So now I have to call around and see who is getting them for christmas because I have to try this pie lol lol.

I din't even know about her pie,until I went to Walmart they had it right on the entrance I looked at the pie it looked Good saw Patti Labelle's face on the box and thought I should try it, it was gooooood..... I even went back for another one.I when back to Walmart for a 3rd time but no more pies.
