@@joelspringman523 I don't know if there is heaven, I don't know if Jesus was a god, but for sure he was a nice guy, I would like to know him. Her's line about Jesus makes me happy, she takes responsibility, Jesus said "ayudate y te ayudaré" (translate that for yourself I'm Latin-American, that's a quote from the bible). If there is heaven, she's gonna be there, no doubt, maybe me too, and I if we´ll meet I'll kiss her hand and said, "thank you Patty for the poetry, you are an Angel, a true one".
@@dsenunez All you have to do is accept the gift of living in eternal joy, which doesn't have to be earned, but just accepted, from the Lover of your soul. EVERYTHING you have ever done wrong is covered by the sacrifice of the Son of God. He loves you more than you can fathom, no matter how you have rebelled, or no matter what you have done. His mercy is infinite, as is his love. No one is worthy of his forgiveness, but his grace is infinite, as is his love.
She is so many different things, some I like (fierce and wild) some I don't (pretentious sometimes) but what always gets me is how joyful and kind and real she is when she is just talking. I love to watch her watching her children perform too. Heart of gold.
Shes so amazing. Even when shes quiet and scratchin her head and wondering what to say to Conan. THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE FOR THE WORLD PATTI ♥♥♥ ..and thanks to COnan too opf course :) "jenny"
i have always thought she is.... an angel. A dear sincere woman. Now that Im oldre (im almost 32 but Im 25 if people ask hehe..21 even) But anyhoos,,,she means more now than ever. I didnt wanna post a typical 'age' comment on youtube but - she is a queen. OUR american queen poet. She gives so much and shes warm and beautiful and HONEST and real. AN angel. Indeed. Thank god. ♥
Think the Lord could ask her hand in marriage. Of course, the Lord always has the final word!!! Beautiful human being. The outer person not so different from the beauty coming from her inner honesty.
I just heard her version of Gimme Shelter; brilliant! I’m surprised that she wears a cross around her neck; and I recently heard that she loves Pope Francis and performed at the Vatican; how cool is that! I pray that she converts to Catholicism. God bless Patti Smith!
Brilliant! By the away MS Patty, show the world about the new discussian about New aspects! Tks "for your CORAGE!!!" I'm alive t ks ro You!????? . Me ajudou MUITO!!!
This is quite tense. Low chemistry. Lots of interruption. Conan fails to make her feel comfortable hence her taking the piss when she gets the desk. She’s exacting her revenge and making a joke about it (although the feelings are real)
i dunno...she's clearly nervous af...they met on a plane and he asked to be on his show...she's on his turf..he did the best he could in light of her being the last guest of the night...things get a little wonky then regardless of who is the guest.
ya see now you feel as lame as i did a few minutes ago😂 she really gets one feel whatever she says whether be it the way she sings or just the way she talks
Her selfconsciousness makes her hosts also uncomfortable.....My god......she's been on talkshows for years and we hear the same rant all over again....."I'm so, so excited to be on television" ....at least she's real , which is a very seldom thing on U.S. television.......wave wave....bye bye........🖐🏻🤩
About that self-consciousness...yeah...she knows she's not the most beautiful woman in the world and who knows, maybe somewhere in her past she was treated as the ugly duckling by family members or high school friends and that iconic poet she became is a defense mechanism. I admire her success in rock music, but c'mon, she ain't gonna win no beauty pageant. At least she's not fat....and ugly. Ok, go ahead and rip me a new one...i'm out.
@@brainscott8198 Her self consciousness was not because of her looks ,of which she always seemed very confident ,certainly not in the 70's when she was a charismatic beauty (not in the conventional sense) . It was probably more being over sensitive to media hype , starting in the early 70s when she managed to get herself noticed because of her unusual charisma . Since the start of the 80's it seems she fucking bows to King Television , which she (especially) should know is run by brainwashing propaganda merchants .
@@PAULLONDEN "Charismatic beauty, but not in the conventional sense"???. that's the politically correct way, snowflake way of saying...She's not very pretty. And she got "noticed" by her first words on her first album, "Horses", in 1975: "Jesus died for someone's sins, but not mine." Controversial from the get go, charisma or not. Listen, I love her music..I'm a big fan since "Wave", 1979, with "Frederic", dedicated to her future hubby, Fred "Sonic" Smith from the group MC-5... "Dancing Barefoot", and the remake of "So you Wanna Be A Rock n Roll Star." But let's call it like it is...she's no prize beauty.
@@joedellaselva1251 No kidding...I used to think she was a big dopehead, but according to sources who know her best, she was raised a strict Jehova's Witness and remains so...only stimulant she uses is caffeine.
Yeah..a little different for me. I found her to be quite odd ,boring mostly & even cringe worthy at times. Patti should stick to singing & leave comedy up to the pros. I could've done without this late- night diatribe.. just let her belt out her hit "Becausse the Night"..staring at the wall of course. Geez..she is a bad guest..Conan is over improvising here. No chemistry..She blew her "shot" !
