June 2024 listening to true county music...Oh how I remember my previous husband's arms holding me as we swayed to that song. It was just released . we were always blessed with a special deep love. He could make me feel like a princess because he could really dance.....I lost my previous husband of 46 yrs. last month, May 10th---2 days before our anniversary. What I wouldn't give to be in his arms again. 🥰❤
😢I am so sorry for your loss. Me an my husband have been married for almost 39 years now, and, if I lost him idk what I'd do. HE IS my rock and I love him so. So, I can only imagine how you must feel. God bless you huney.
A month later still listening to the great ones lost my wife and best friend twenty years ago kinda hard to find a soulmate to replace our years together at least at my age I'm 61 and just not real interested anymore

For Waylon, it was Ralph Mooney’s steel guitar, and Ritchie Albright’s drums pounding out that half time beat. For those two, who can sing anything, it’s soul-stirring harmony singing. How can anyone not like country music?

This is my kind of music- PURE country, not that rock crap they pass off as country music today. Sure wish they would do an album together. I's stand in line to buy it!
They have that high & lonesome sound, the song is dripping classic country, beautiful. I don't know if Patty & Vince were ever an item, probably not but maybe that's what makes it so intimate and pure. Love the little looks back and forth.
I've wondered that too. Patty's husband is a long time friend of Vince's, even pre-Patty. I think most people have *that* "relationship" where there is a longing between two people that can never be fulfilled without ruining friendships and lives. Of course, it could simply also be very good stage presence. Whatever the case, they're one of the best duets of all time.

Clarence Wooten If you think that, then, they succeeded it as a duet partner. Vince is the king of duet and his demonstration by over 500 performances with other artists speaks for it. Look how beautiful he made a duet with Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn,or Barbara Streisand. For just a few examples.

We saw them in TN @ the 25th Anniversary of Vince's 25 yrs celebration as a member of the GOO! OH! I'll put that right up there with the time I saw Elvis Presley in Denver mid 1970's
