I think they were split when they sang this, it was really hard on Jessi don't think she ever stopped loving Waylon, met Jessi and son Shooter at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa 9 or 10 years ago a moment I'll never forget, she is such a beautiful lady inside and out, her voice just touches your soul, will enjoy listening to her till my last day, but yes their love was strong while it lasted, and their voices complimented each other when they sang together, wish it would have worked out for them, they really did make a great couple

I knew Waylon before Jessie did, and I can tell you for a fact she had to be a very special lady to put up with his wicked ways right up to the end. He finally did get off drugs by himself, Jessie, and the Grace Of God. RIP Waylon You Were/Still Are The Best!
