Jane Grey My theory- Paul thought he could treat everyone in the house like his dogs(Cody quote) but you had an Alpha dog(Cody), a in heat dog(for Cody) that wasn't going to be your bitch, two strays(Mark/Elena) and three pit pups(Alex/Jason/Josh) that grew some balls and turned on you. Turns out you didn't master your pack because you acted like a beta and a animal abuser, so you got mauled.

@@theguy1243 ugh sorry no. Paul lost because he didn't own his game hence causing poor jury management. Had he not chosen to continue lying to everyone in their goodbye messages with things like "if your seeing this then they betrayed me too and I'll probably be seeing you next week" and just owned that he played them like Josh did(or Mike Boogie also in All-Stars) then I think he would have gotten more votes. Honestly I think he would have gotten most if not all, with the exception of Cody of course since he told him early in the game he would win. Most of the jury was huge bb fans and would have respected that. If you rewatch the season and pay attention to their facial expressions during the goodbye messages several were hurt once hearing Paul lie then Josh tell the truth.

Nick Spaloss What was he supposed to do? He could either tell the truth and get exposed early on or sneak into the final 2. His only mistake was dodging questions in the interrogation and making faces during Josh's speech. He just played the game. He didn't sin in lying in the game. It was all a game.

For starters, he could've told the already evicted houseguests the cold hard truth instead of continuing to dodge all responsibility in his goodbye message, because what purpose did it really serve continuing to lie to those who were already evicted and wouldn't come back into the game?

He did what he had to do. No apologies necessary. Everyone is just hating because Paul played one the best social games. One, don't use that word. Two, she's absolutely correct in that Paul caused his own loss. Losing once can be blamed on a salty jury, but losing twice says more about Paul's game than it does about the jury.

Correction...Derrick actually had the best male social game in BB history. Being the only BB winner to never touch the block, and sending people to jury wanting to vote for him to win are two things that I'd say make a great social game. And for a more understated social game, also watch BB12, because Hayden also understood the social part very well, and it clearly paid off for him.

zoey taylor Last season, he picked Nicole over James. James wouldn’t have one. He is so dumb for saying I’m not going to reward James not doing anything. He should have taken the person who didn’t play as well. This season, he screwed up his own game by lying, backstabbing, which would not go across well with any juror. Therefore, your comment is false.

Part of the strategy is jury management. He loses his whole game in how he handled people leaving. Also his personal vendetta against Cody hurt him in the long run.

Which is why jury management is a more important factor in winning the game. Bitter or not, the jury can vote how they see fit and it’s up to the player who evicted them to sincerely explain why they had to in order to further their game and not be so cocky about it.

Nope. It's absolutely not true that Paul had no control over the jury votes, because it was a direct result of his actions in the game, and not owning up to those actions when confronted, that cost him the win. To me, that implies that he could have controlled the votes if he lost because of choices he made.

Not ganging up on Paul here. My issue is more with the delusional fans who don't get why Paul fully deserved to lose BB.

Paul fully deserved to lose...his fault for not taking jury management into account. Until he realizes that's his weak point and works on it, he still won't win if he returns for a third time.

Except unlike Paul, Josh understood the importance of being honest and upfront with the jury, and that eventually gave him the edge. Notice how both of them handled the goodbye messages part...Paul continued to lie to everyone and deny all responsibility for what he helped orchestrate, while Josh was completely open and honest about his part in everything that happened in the BB house. Likewise, a lot of the jury respected that Josh would call people out to their face and own up to his strategy when asked about it by the jury, while Paul hiding behind others and telling unnecessary lies even at jury questioning wasn't as well received. Moral of the story, always be honest and own up to your game, and that will get you jury votes.
