Gambino family associate and proposed member Anthony Ruggiano Jr talks about his relationship with Paul Castellano's driver Thomas Billotti. Anthony explains he was the forgotten victim in the assassination of Gambino Crime Family Boss Paul Castellano. He was gunned down with Paul in front of Spark's Steakhouse in New York City.
Tommy looked out for Anthony when he was at the Arthur Kill Correctional Facility in Staten Island, New York. The prison guards were on the take.

I'm gonna attempt to stop the cigs I recently have passed a year of being clean from heroin, ecstasy & coke at one point I was using heroin & ecstasy everyday to ease mental things but I'm happy to be clean and shit just gets better and better but I'm with you on the cigs fucking things are $12 a pack in Jersey!!

I grew up in South Beach and JB was like an uncle to me growing up. He was the epitome of happy go lucky and extremely dangerous at the same time. I will always be grateful he was a part of my life. RIP JB

@@mattjohn8257 JB had sleep in his hands, he would always be giving me and my brother, we were both boxers, tips on how to generate power from a short distance, even took us to some PAL gyms to spar with other kids, growing up I personally witnessed him drop three guys with one shot, and two of them were slaps, never mind how many tough guys from the neighborhood, who got out of line, that he gave tune ups, when I was a kid and would go places with JB and my stepfather, who believe it or not, was even scarier and more dangerous than JB, we would always run into somebody who would come over and be super gracious, and as soon as they left my stepfather or JB would tell the story of how they either broke his arm or leg or put him in the hospital, it was very enlightening. JB was a great story teller and funny as hell, he could tell you a story about beating the shit out of somebody, that you would be laughing so hard, you were almost grateful to the guy on the receiving end of the beating for getting out of line. Those were the days.

Are you familiar with the story of Buddy’s cousin Sal his father Vincent disappeared back in 1972 he lived in Staten Isl that’s what made me think of this story and they finally found his body after 40 plus years in Vermont and the police up there really fumbled the ball on this case I read that area was a burial ground for a lot of wise guys just figured I’d ask because you mentioned Sal in other videos how he and Buddy used to come visit you when you were in prison. I guess it was important to take out Tommy B at the same time as Paul Castellano, if not there was going to be a big issue-that’s interesting cause no one seems to mention how important taking out Tommy was at that time-it always comes across like at the wrong place at the wrong time for Tommy, but that doesn’t seem to be the case…as Sammy G says people don’t understand how big of a hit this was for the mob.

I was born in Pennsyltucky, but spent most of my life in Charlotte NC. To outsiders, the unbelievable thing is, New York water is so good for pizza, that back in the 90s, the Italians were actually considering trucking NYC water down south, just for pizza dough! Apparently, NYC really did have some of the cleanest, safest water, even though you'd think otherwise.

I know frankie decicco was close to Paul and I agree frankie was the one who had the biggest betrayal but I didn't know frankie and tommy bilotti were close. I was under the impression frankie didn't like tommy and was jealous that paul was naming tommy underboss and that's why frankie decided to join in with gotti on the hit. Gravano tells a story about them discussing what to do with Tommy's brother. Gravano claims him and frankie sat down bilottis brother and frankie told the brother "you better thank this man right here(gravano) because if it was up to me(frankie), you'd being right there in the gutter with your brother." How true that is I have my doubts. Mikey scars doesn't buy that story. If anything I could see it being the other way around. Gravano wanted to hit Tommy's brother and frankie said no. Gravano has a habit of telling fairly truth stories but its always the other person who was pushing for whoever to get hit, not gravano. Yeah right. Lol.

He created a big problem with the bakery biz that involved our family bakery, Donnie Shacks bakery. It was also in Sammy's book when Donnie and Gerry Lang met with him about Paul having to go. That problem was solved for us after that hit.

Tommy would have been better off sticking to his Staten Island rackets. He was doing excellent work. The driving job chauffeuring the likes of boss Castellano cost him his life. BTW. this is the 1st time that I've heard a bad word about DeCiccio and his role in the Castellano hit . Out of respect for the deceased, RIP to all of the above.

Tony 'what happened to Billotti's brother when he got clipped. One more thing nothing to do with this program. You tell the story of foxy jerothe' killed by Tommy di Simone on his doorstep. You're nearly right' but it wasn't his wife. My research tells me it was his daughter' I've heard one other guy say it was his sister. Certainly it wasn't his wife' that might seem a small thing. But it's insulting to his wife if she's still around'or if not the children family etc. Anyway great story Tony.
